Room and bathroom was beautifully clean, well furnished with lovely toiletries in the bathroom. All really beautifully finished. Our room was really spacious, had a lovely sea view and a private courtyard. Thankfully as rooms on the other side of the hotel overlook the car park. Not such a nice view I imagine. All the staff we met were really friendly, helpful. Restaurant and dining was exceptional. Food, the best I had eaten for a long time. Superb!!! Location, perfect for exploring St Davids and the local coastal paths.

Visited the cathedral and enjoyed a lovely 2 hour walk inside and around the grounds (the 'voluntary' donation of £5 into the cathedral felt almost involuntary due to the lady reminding everyone that it was an option and 'don't worry about not having cash, we have a card machine'. The town is beautiful and kept very clean. There's lots of indoor places to visit for rainy days.

    Off-season, St.

Off-season, St. David’s is a sleepy town (sorry, CITY… but in name only) with disproportionately good food options and a lovely cathedral. Crust Pizza is surprisingly delicious and the pubs are all that you could want. The shops are plentiful enough to sate summer crowds while the coast trail skirts beautiful clifftop vantage points and the white sand beach where surfers brave cold waves. No reason to drive, stay close and walk this historic town. For those with mobility challenges, this would be a very hard town to navigate.

For beach goers with young familes OK especially if you work out how to also get to other beaches than Whitesands which can be overcrowded. St David's is well served by churches; as well as the Cathedral there is Sunday Catholic Mass and other non-conformist places of worship. A visit to St Non's ancient site of Christianity is a mostly level, 3/4 mile from the town. Eating out is a problem; we formed the impression that some outlets were overpriced, needing to get most profit from tourists; that Saffron (curry house) no longer has 'eat in' is a pity. have no idea what you mean under this section 3 'Cue the confetti! A review this chock-full of info is a gold mine for other travellers. English translation?' With no photos to upload for section 5 I tried section 6; didn't work:

One whole day is probably sufficient for St Davids: half a day visit to the cathedral and half a day wandering around the city. 1 or 2 days either walking the coast path or driving the coast road. I would highly recommend the informative boat tour around Ramsey Island (half a day).

The location was ideal for travelling around the Pembrokeshire coastline with fabulous countryside scenery. The breakfasts were excellent, great variety of fruit, cereal and cooked items with plenty to eat. The facilities were great, very comfortable and clean. Best of all though was the fantastic hospitality provided by the hosts Jackie and Ian who made us feel so welcome. Thoroughly recommend this venue and we'll hopefully return for another stay.

When we opened the room´s door both of us said: WoW!! The room was spacious, you have the bedroom itself plus a separate area with a sofa, a table and TV. Big windows and then the ocean and the mountains! The place is perfect to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast and it´s located 10 minutes drive from the town of St. Davids. Fran was very kind and always available. A place to came back without doubts

Food was outstanding. The goat cheese salad was a perfectly balanced textured tasting salad. The fish n chips was splendid. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. Everything we asked for was a yes! Great location for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast. The staff were tremendously hard working but made time to engage with us. Two separate perfect stays. Thank you!

The breakfast was perfect. A massive bowl of fresh fruit for me, with some non dairy yoghurt. I also ate at their hotel for dinner on both nights…the food was delicious and the staff were efficient, but also kind and generous with their conversation. I had a luxurious bath on one evening, looking out to the green natural surrounds. I could have stayed longer.

The house locates in the center of St. Davids, with a very lovely garden. The living room and the kitchen are large. The cutlery are really nice. Also, two bathrooms are included(one upstairs and one downstairs). A detailed tourism booklet was provided. Overall this is a really nice, cozy and clean place to stay and we really enjoyed the time there.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the city centre but to be honest, everywhere in St David’s is a short walk away. The room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have an en suite in such a small hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the young man waiting at breakfast.

Everything was perfect. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. It was my birthday treat and they left a card, some homemade chocolates and a mini love spoon as a gift. We were also upgraded from the room I had originally booked. Blas restaurant was first class, food and service. Fantastic hotel.
