Great location for trip to London (8 minute walk and 10 minute journey to Stratford station) from nice hotel with off-street parking in a nice residential area, clean room and ensuite with everything we needed and exceptionally friendly and helpful owner. Room was large and bed was comfortable, plenty of breakfast options within a short walk after first tea/coffee in-room. We will definitely go back for future London visits

I had personal issues with the property and although it was spotlessly clean I couldn't stay there again. Perfect for an able bodied couple. Excellent kitchen facilities including washing machine. It should state on Booking.com that this is a two storey house, not an apartment which would have saved me a thoroughly miserable visit

I don’t like writing bad reviews and my experience at this hotel may be just a one off but it wasn’t good. The room was incredible small and you would t fit two people in it comfortably. During the night a mass brawl broke out in the corridors and I had to barricade my door. No apologist or explanation from staff. Then a staff member decided to start hovering outside my bedroom door at 9am on a Sunday morning.

Location was ideal, close to public transport and the station was brilliant for me a disabled traveller. Great access for going into the city with connecting tube lines. First time I had ever used the Elizabeth line & it was fantastic.

It was only a short in and out trip, plenty of options for an evening meal. I felt relatively safe walking the streets when going out of an evening to eat. Didn't get to see the Romford Bull 😒 BOSH

I didn't like the fact that there is no lift and you have to walk all the way to the top floor where my room was.And also I got burnt with the the high heat temperature in the shower because it was faulty and was not checked before giving out the room to me. The radiator in the room was not working and the room was so cold. I need a compensation.
This is a fantastic place to stay. I booked an apartment for my relatives and they loved staying here. We were also blown away by how spacious the apartment was.
We spoke to several other guests in the lobby and lifts and everyone we spoke to had a glowing review of it.
Super close to the station and 20 mins on the train to get into London.
Added to which, the staff were so, so lovely and helpful, too. I have nothing but praise for Morland House!
Property was a former local authority flat but was nicely finished, warm and in a quiet location. Central Romford was around 10-12 minutes away by car or roughly 20 minutes walking/by bus with all buses stopping at the station for easy links to Liverpool St every 10 minutes or so. A Tesco Express and Aldi close to the property means it’s easy to get your self-catering essentials.
Breakfast was good except it could really use fresh fruit. This is important when travelling and I believe I've always had fresh fruit offered at other Hiltons. The bed was very comfortable and having fresh towels every day was lovely. Staff were really wonderful, especially since the hotel was in transition. Chester, Rahima, Tatania, and Boohon were excellent.
Host went out to buy Almond milk when I couldn't drink the dairy due to an allergy was very accommodating for this! Helped me carry a very heavy suitcase up stairs! - the location is absolutely perfect! Walking distance to Gidea Park and buses out the front for journeys in to Romford and beyond!
Would stay again! Fantastic location!
It was accommodating on short notice.
1. Host- Cheerful, charming and welcoming.
2. Room- clean, modern with a view of the garden.
3. Facilities- internet could handle Zoom calls, there was a fridge and an awesome shower.
4. Parking- adequate and in front with CCTV
5. Location- quiet residential street with proximity to town centre.
Lovely big room, such a comfortable bed. A good night's sleep, as the hotel is in a quiet road, no traffic noise, yet near to everything you could want in Romford, plus transport nearby to take you further into London. Super powerful shower. Fridge in room was very useful. There is also an ironing board and iron too.
If you are looking for 5 star luxury - don't book here. If you are looking for friendly staff, happy with basic room but very clean, good value breakfast - personally cooked for you and need a good safe and free car park...then this is the hotel for you. Would defiantly book again when on business in London.
Warm reception on entering from Daneila. Room spotless and had everything you need. Shower hot and tea and coffee, tv , WiFi good.
Excellent location to Romford Town centre and right next door to venue we were attending that evening.
Breakfast was full English and was excellent.
Would recommend this hotel.
We were happy with our stay. The house was clean and spacious, which was good for us to share as a group of 7 people. The beds were comfy and we were provided with clean towels. Thank you!
One side note, it’s only 7 minutes walk from Romford station.
Great location, close to Romford station and a new build property. Very spacious room with fridge, kettle, tea and coffee and a smart TV and en suite bathroom and the host was very friendly and welcoming. A great stay that was very comfortable!
It is fairly dated but the staff are great and so was breakfast. It is what it is, a comfortable clean bed on a busy road goinging into Romford! I'd stay here again, definitely preferable to the cheapest big chain.
Apparently a family run business with a pleasant host. Served its purpose for us. Location was also good, about 10 minutes walk to the Romford market/shopping center (brewery) with lots of shops and eateries.
Good value but the hotel is tired. The rooms (215) is very like a Butlins Chalet. Night reception staff would not make eye contact.😞 Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Breakfast Staff were good & friendly.
Central location. Nice large downstairs area with lots of seating. Near Mawney Arms pub, which had friendly staff and great fish & chips (written in Romford Recorder).
