Nice room and en-suite. Easy access via pin code instead of keys. Friendly staff. Buses 4 and 4A pass the pub. Short walk to town centre and a good Wetherspoons. Good range of real ales on the bar (Victoria, that is).

Kevin was an amazing host. You can see how much pride he has in what he does. You could tell the room was freshly decorated and it was clean and perfect. The beds were so comfortable and everything was fresh. Had a brilliant night sleep.

Great staff. They made us feel very welcome. The buffet breakfast was spot on. Me and my family will be going back there 👌👌👌
In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

Fascinating house built for one of the Wedgwood family. Lots of Wedgwood pottery on display and lovely stained glass windows throughout the property. Dinner vg and staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet and rural location just outside Stoke with a superb garden.

Not much to do here and fairly run down like any other city in the Midlands, but have enough facilities if you visit nearby places like Trentham Garden or Keele University.
Fairly good connection by bus and private vehicle, but a bit difficult to arrive by train (need to arrive at Stoke-on Trent station and need a bit of bus ride).

Liked There was everything you needed at hand .... the kitchen was small but compact , there was cutlery , frying pan , pan and plates microwave, hob ... tea , coffee and sugar but NO milk had to go shop down the road and buy it. Reason was because of covid , but all other hotels I've stayed does provide this ... bathroom small but convenient, shower basin wasn't cleaned ! Small sofa was fairly comfortable... THE BIGGEST ISSUE WAS THE BED . WAS 2 SINGLES PUSHED TOGETHER, very shocking and a bit dangerous I thought , there was a big gap in the middle , i love to toss and turn at night but kept waking up so didnt get hardly any sleep for my 2 night stay . my boyfriend who lives near by ended up going home instead !! There was no where to eat on sight either , I will not be using this hotel again ....

Very well organised and a nice welcome on our arrival.
Very well organised and a nice welcome on our arrival. Key code access to allocated areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Large room, nice facilities, very decent bathroom (large), with corner bath and shower (great pressure), and plenty of hot water. Fridge (with cold milk supplied - nice touch), and a courtesy tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sugars and sweeteners. Would highly recommend, fairly priced and well worth the money. Will definitely stay again, should the occasion arise.

It's a lovely little town.
It's a lovely little town. Beautiful flower baskets and little craft stalls on weekends. It felt safe. Well maintained parks and recreation areas. A good selection of shops and restaurants. Overall, it is a relaxing town.
There are homeless people begging, but they're not aggressive the way they are in other towns.

We stayed Monday night we went out for food and a look around the town most food places were already closed. Including McDonald’s and the ones that were open didn’t serve food after 9pm which is an average time. We did find a little Italian restaurant which was ok, loverly little place but the pasta and sauces dishes weren’t homemade from scratch. My daughter said dolmio has more flavor lol.

Amazing value - the room was a good size and nicely appointed and decorated. Very clean - and the towels and linen smelt so fresh and comforting. Access codes made coming and going so convenient, and a small shared kitchen was a useful addition that I didn’t use but great to know for next time. Fridge in the room with fresh milk and water + hot drink accompaniments that are much more in keeping with a good hotel. Really good experience and will visit again
Kevin was so welcoming and gave me all the information I needed. The room was large, spotlessly clean (and I'm really picky!) and it was quiet. I slept very well and felt very safe. My first time alone in a guest house instead of a large hotel. Lots of street parking available during the evening and also car park just across the road. Property is at the end of a no through street so relatively quiet.
First of all, the hotel manager, Kevin, a nice man. He Sam suggested that I check in much earlier. In addition, he changed the room to a much better one than I booked. It was really clean, quiet. I am not a frequent visitor to hotels but this place impressed me for this the money of course. I recommend it. Regards to everyone
Easily accessed with free parking spaces behind. The landlady Julie was so welcoming and lovely, showing us around thoroughly and making sure we were settled and had everything we needed. The room itself was spacious and beautifully presented, the TV was huge and the bed was the best hotel bed we’ve ever slept on! Like a cloud!
The key code entrances were fantastic. Staff were lovely and welcoming and made sure to inform us of everything we needed to know. Lovely rooms with extra special touches like a teddy on the bed to give a more homely feel and the tv having ability to use Netflix was a nice bonus many hotels don’t have.
Given that it´s the only hotel within walking distance from the Keele University facilities, location was an unbeatable advantage. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the room clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the countryside from the window.
Amazing luxury apartment with wonderful and modern decoration and lighting, all the space cleaned and ready for me, the accommodation was working a perfectly also the tub is good. All staff was professional and helpful, the location is perfect to found.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond if you have a food allergy. The building is new so it has air conditioning, a workout room, sitting area in the lobby with a bar and outdoor seating. Very nice hotel.
It was a lovely one-night stay in Newcastle Under Lyme, the room is quiet and calm. The facilities were conducive and well maintained. Plus the staffs were friendly and very attentive to details, I couldn't ask for more
The room was pretty good value for money, also it was clean and very spacious. Couldn't really fault it to be honest would certainly book again if was back at alton towers which was the purpose of the visit.
Lovely well presented property. Ideal
Location for Newcastle under Lyme and Keele university. Quiet location with parking. Accommodates 6 comfortably. Will book again.
The location is good in terms of it being in Newcastle under lyme and there is parking. Nothing else about this place is positive, it was dirty and unclean.
The location is perfect for the theatre in Newcastle Under Lyme. Parking is easy. Twin beds and very comfortable. Private shower room. Fridge in the room.
