Property was in a beautiful location ideal for walkers and pet owners. The apartment had everything you needed and was dog friendly. The Anglers Rest pub had amazing staff, tasty food which we sampled and also allowed dogs. The location is exceptionally beautiful and peaceful, most of the time only the sound of birds and sheep . Fill your car with provisions and you never need to use it as endless walks from the door. Love the landscape and the ever present history. Walked both directions along the Monsal Trail. Epic sandwiches sitting outside the pub at Monsal Head and my little dog welcome everywhere.

A fantastic location for walking as the accommodation was a few steps from the monsal trail. Accommodation was behind a pub so there would normally be meals and drinks served every day, however, with covid restrictions, the food times were very limited. Several quaint and picturesque villages only a short drive away, with cafes and pubs etc.Chris - 10Scored 10

Pretty place just off the main road.
Pretty place just off the main road. Some nice walks but can be challenging if you don’t like hills. Beautiful stream and woods in the backdrop. Not very close to shops or other facilities though.
