My booking was accepted, then Hammond waited until i was en route by Uber to take the booking back. This was an extremely high volume booking day due to a concert in town, so I was left stranded for hours finding a replacement until my phone almost ran out of batteries. Harrow claimed they never accepted my booking even though I had the email, and didn't compensate me in any way. Booking.com reimbursed me the cost of the hotel, then promised to reimburse me for the replacement hotel and any transportation costs. They then proceeded to ignore all further communication, and reimbursed none of this. Nobody I know will ever rent anything on Booking.com ever again if I can help it, and I have a steady stream of social media posts to that effect.

    The accommodation was awful.

The accommodation was awful. Dirty and mouldy we booked for 2 days but left after one.. cold with no heating. We were offered a small blow heater that didn't make a difference.. the bathroom was awful.. more mould than tiles

Stinky house, very stinky bathroom, mold in the bathroom.

Stinky house, very stinky bathroom, mold in the bathroom. Bad light in the room. Mess in the garden. Comfortable bed. Small room. Problems with check- in. There was a tube strike in London And we did not have the chance to get there till 22:00 pm. The chinesse owner with bad English refused to wait for us, however we paid everything in advance. She told us to come next day without any compensation. We had to pay extra night in the centre which was expensive. Absolutely do not recommend this accomodation. The owner said She does not care.

Harrow on the Hill itself has a lot to offer in terms of shops, eateries and historic interest. Harrow village up on the hill is where you will find the famous public school and many interesting small shops and pubs serving hot food. There is a look-out by St. Mary's Church, which points out the various landmarks to be seen on a clear day. Transport is good - buses and trains (Metropolitan and Chiltern lines) offer connections to London, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Nearby are the Bentley Priory Museum on the road between Stanmore Watford, and in Pinner, there is the Heath Robinson Museum,
