Hotel staff are nice and helpful. We had fun sitting at the bar and chatting with them. The little bar and fire place has a nice ambiance to have sit and drink. The food was good. :) It is a good basic boutique hotel for short stay if you have car or book a tour and want explore the area and not looking for a luxury stay. For us it was a good stay.

All the staff were exceptional. On arrival the receptionist could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I was on a motorbike, on the NC500, and the heavens opened just before I arrived. I was soaked. The barman was friendly and knowledgeable and generally good fun. The maitre d was exceptional. Very alert yet friendly and clearly leading his team by example. A very tight ship. This was my third visit. I'll definitely be back. Perhaps with my wife next time.

Great location and we had a room with a little alcove to look out on the green! Helpful to separate dogs from other guests eg allowed only in bar area.
