Every little detail and need was catered to and it was the epitome of luxury and comfort (the bed surely comfortable and the bath super special - I took expensive bath oil especially to enjoy the bath!) The views from the balcony are incredible and can be enjoyed from the warmth and comfort of a sumptious sofa with the balcony windows thrown wide

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi...
After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.

The hotel, its self, is very accessible and there are ample parking spaces.
The surrounding areas of Glencoe - has ample walking 'areas' whether on the flat or for climbing. As far as I am aware, you have to travel for nearest shop for provisions - But we were self sufficient - as I had packed reading material and things for us to do as we were there for relaxation.

pretty much central location.
pretty much central location. A lot of historical locations - including the area of the 'Glencoe Massacre' (you can 'feel the tension in the atmosphere in that area) - (well it gave me the shivers - the 'silence' of that area is haunting). We also visited the Glenfinnan Viaduct (AKA The Harry Potter bridge) - nice walking around this area - unfortunately we were too late to catch a view of the steam train!
We loved everything about his property. Firstly, the view is perfect and there is space to sit outside and enjoy it. The inside is very well laid out and is very clean and comfortable. The accommodation has a five star hotel feel about it. Quality fittings, great bed, crisp white bedding, great coffee machine, luxury soaps etc, beautiful bath and fab shower and lots of lovely sweet treats. The host met us with the keys and made some recommendations on things to do and restaurants, a very warm welcome.
Great place for a short stay on our travels through Scotland. The shared kitchen and dining area were bright and welcoming, with an inspiring map table from which our expeditions were launched. We found the cooking facilities more than sufficient for our needs, with a spacious fridge, industrial sized cooker and a sink so large you could wash a highland cow in it. The bunks are high with curtains and a personal light, providing some privacy to read into the night without disturbing others.
The location is superb it was just a shame that the weather was so foul! I was kept awake by the wind and rain battering against the bedroom window. The views from the lodge are outstanding on a clear day. We managed to get a glimpse of it in the morning. The lodge was very comfortable and well appointed
with regards cooking and cleaning facilities. The hot tub was excellent managed to get in despite the rain. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very welcoming and helpful.
We were greeted by the very lovely Ava on arrival, who made our stay extra special. We chose the Ballachulish hotel to celebrate my birthday and what also turned into our engagement. So many happy memories here. We had a beautiful room, with breathe taking views. All members of staff were an absolute delight, such a friendly team. The hotel its self is beautiful and has so much charming character. We will be back for sure.
A very special hotel, truly a unique experience, as it is a renovated castle / mansion with only 5 huge suites and breakfast / dinner is served directly to your room.
Staff is very friendly and helpful (activities, tips etc)
The view onto the lake and the surrounding gardens are spectacular! Truly a place to come and disconnect, indulge in the beautiful nature around the hotel and enjoy a very special couple of days.
Loved the atmosphere from the beautiful furnishings, warm and comfortable sitting rooms, gorgeous views, cozy fireplaces and perfect location. The staff was extremely welcoming and we loved their dog as well. It was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend the Glencoe Inn to anyone wanting a true Scottish experience..
The hotel is very clean & comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. The location is picturesque & perfect for day trips in any direction. The food is amazing with a cozy pub for drinks & conversation. The staff, led by Rodney along with Leanne, John, Josh, Kieran & the Chef make Loch Leven an exceptional place to stay.
Very special place to come to. Gorgeous views, the hot tub is a real treat. Love how the property is near the hotel and facilities. Centrally located to see around Glencoe by car. Staff are exceptionally lovely. We had a very special family time here. Thankyou! Wonderful stay and will definitely be back
We booked for a family break away- we had loch views which were absolutely stunning! What an amazing location.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We holiday in the area a lot and not sure how we’ve missed this hotel before! Will definitely be back.
This hotel is excellent- excellent location; easy to get to any place around, including Loch Lomond and many attractions around. The staff was amazing, and so does the rooms. Great breakfast and most importantly- great views from the room + lobby.
A bit pricy, but other than that really great hotel.
This is a real "Room with a view". The room was perfect, big enough, the bathroom was very big and the bed was a king size bed and very comfortable. The hotel has a small pool and a jacuzzi which was a perfect addition. But unfortunately, waaaaay too expensive for the options that you have. :(
Hosts were wonderful. The place was exceptional. Lots of space. Well decorated. Spotless. So great to have such an inviting, roomy and comfortable space after traveling out of small hotel rooms with that cramped, scattered luggage, in transit feeling to them.
We stayed in 7 hotels during our stay in Scotland and this one was the most expensive one. The concept is very cool, cute lodges in a great location, very clean and wonderful, very welcoming staff.
The property was situated in a great location for travelers on a Scotland road trip. Situated right in the middle Glencoe valley, it was a perfect stop for us before making our way to Isle of Skye.
Beautifully decorated hotel. Very welcoming and staff are fantastic. Food was delicious too. Can’t fault it. Set in the naturally beautiful Glencoe. Can’t wait to go back.
Breakfast was good, dinner was fantastic, nice cosy hotel in beautiful countryside. Husband and son done the distillery tour and made their own rum, would recommend both.
