The paint on bedroom doors and skirting were all chipped and scored , toilets down stairs at reception were disgusting, loo roll , cups , paper dirty floors. Fence out side bar area was very old and falling to bits ,I learned after leaning on it the slates fell off , as did all the fencing on stair area lucky my husband was there to catch me as I used rail to go down to car park and it fell apart rotten wood. Definitely not worth 200 a night room only . The veiw was only good thing. Big grease stains in lamp shade in dinning area , dirty food marked seating.
This elegant and intimate exclusive retreat in the heart of the Scottish Highlands overlooks the mysterious and beautiful Loch Ness.

Everything about our brief stay was exceptional. The manager upon our arrival was outstanding, professional and friendly. The facilities were true 5 star and superbly comfortable. The attentiveness from all of the staff carried through to breakfast and checking out. My wife and I were sad in that we couldn't extend our stay due to prior commitments. The staff at Loch Ness Lodge are a credit to the owners.
In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

Having stayed here for our honeymoon, in 1974, we returned for our 50th wedding anniversary and couldn’t have wished for a better stay. Our room, number 5, was beautiful. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, special thanks to Norah and Leanne on reception and to Patience who always greeted us with a huge smile. And what can we say about the inimitable Donald Skinner, what a character, we enjoyed the banter with you.
Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.

Stayed for one evening.
Stayed for one evening. Staff were rude, place was a glorified shed. Road up was hard work on motorbikes. Too far out of town. Grounds were unkept, Sheds were neglected.
Clunebeg too expensive for what it was.

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor.
Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.
Arrived after another day walking the Great Glen Way. The garden was beautiful and I loved being able to sit outside to have my coffee and read my book.
Unfortunately, there was no restaurant open due to covid but our host was well prepared for this and provided us with our options for dinner. We went for take away and she kindly set up and cleared table for us to eat.
The triple room was beautiful and spacious. You’d think you were in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing.
Lovely property , with large spacious rooms, amazingly comfortable bed, incredible views, and a tremendous host. Close to Inverness and Drumnadrochit, but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of other tourists. Property benefits from a great outdoor space to relax in and an excellent Italian restaurant less than a minutes walk away. Couldn’t recommend this enough , you won’t be disappointed
It is a nice and calm place to stay and recharge in the nature. There are a lot of hiking trails around. It is close to both Drumnadrochit where you can visit Lochn Ness centre and some giftshops and restaurants, as well as Urquhart castle. The restaurant in the Loch Ness Inn was great and I loved the possibility to sit outside by the river in the backside of the hostel.
Spacious, clean and peaceful bungalow, conveniently located near Urquhart Castle and Drumnadrochit stores and restaurants. We were able to walk to Urquhart Castle, to the grocery store and restaurants.
There is a washing machine and space to hang dry clothes in unit. The kitchen is well equipped, we had home made breakfast every day.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was closed the evening we were there and they organised a table for us with the village restaurant located 100m away (which was excellent). We were upgraded too - which is always a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. A really good breakfast.
Stewart and his family are absolutely wonderful. The house is gorgeous and the room was spacious, comfy, and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The location is great, feels very secluded and has a beautiful view, but not far from Loch Ness and towns. Probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in.
Nice, big room and a wonderful bed and shower. The hotel is located in a quiet spot in Drumnadrochit, near Loch Ness and Urquhart castle, which is a must see if you are in the area. The hotel has a pub/restaurant and offers a reasonable breakfast. Staf was friendly.
Great hotel with lovely staff. We stayed 3 nights and found the stay very comfortable. The family rooms at the back are great with bunk beds for kids! Food at the restaurant is great and we really enjoyed the live band too! The staff were very kind and helpful!
The staff and location of the Inn closed to Loch Ness was excellent. The inn and attached pub were great for dining and we enjoyed the Scottish "Jam Session" but some musicians that helped pass the night away. The rooms were nice as was the breakfast.
me and the missus loved this place! the rooms were newly renovated when we visited and the restaurant was amazing! included breakfast menu was quite extensive as well and really tasty. staff were great too
An exceptional hotel. Of a very high standard with every thought given to the guests comfort. Although there are no evening meals the reception booked us into a hotel restaurant a five minute walk away.
The hotel bar and restaurant are lovely with fantastic views of the Loch. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the loch. The food was delicious and the staff were great.
The hotel was as we expected: clean room, good food in the restaurant, very friendly staff. We were given cot for our baby free of charge, as we requested it while booking.
