The breakfast was excellent with great choice of food.
The beds were very comfortable and the linen crispy white and soft.
Everything was very clean.
The staff as we checked in were very friendly, so was the same young guy on shift on Sunday morning.

Picked for the location, room was fine, albeit the carpet needs a bloody good clean. Food in the restaurant in the evening was overpriced, breakfast was OK, the hot selection was good, the continental meats etc weren't fresh. The pool is filthy, needs a really good scrub. Had to ask 3 times for bathrobes, eventually gave up and stayed at reception until thry brought them to us. Was supposedly "upgraded" on arrival, this was to a room directly above a function room hosting a wedding - typing this review at 23.45 and rhe music is still pumping! Given the size of the hotel, I dont understand why anyone would have been roomed so close to a party room with a booking.
Despite the cost of the room, we were also charged parking and the use of the pool facilities, never had that at a venue before.

Breakfast option is great, shower needs improvement and for goodness sake please stop charging unreasonably for parking. It is a scam, go and check that system very well and appropriate it for the right duration, besides if you allow a late payment for not clocking in the car and the app allows a pay later scheme before next day mid-night, please let it be! Your words should be for honour with no ambiguity. Holiday Inn needs to protect her integrity here, but with this parking thing, you are going to loose it big time.
This is possibly the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. They tried their utmost to make us happy.
This is a historic hotel with quirks which are both positive and negative. Go for a named room, i.e. such as Jane Bennet, where we landed, after a first night in a very small room without an outside window. You also need to be able to handle stairs.
Dartford town was a pleasant surprise, with a Thursday market and a beautiful park and lakes within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.
House is the same as in pictures , clean and quiet area . The room is spacious and has4 toilet.the blankets and sheets are clean , even the hand soap and towels are available. The owner is responsible and reply within a couple of minutes. The back yard also big , there are parking. It's walking distance to downtown where groceries and other stores are available. I highly recommend this house for family or group .
Lovely fresh clean room with air-conditioning and ample plug sockets, even USB options. cozy bed and nice selection of teas and coffees, the shower was lovely and powerful and the towels were fluffy! I would definitely go back! We were able to check in late so could get lots done in the day, have a meal and then go to the hotel when we finished. It was delightful;
It was a pretty basic room which is exactly what I needed. The bathroom was just a little tight but that's as close to a complaint as I can muster to be honest. The staff were very friendly, the parking, while street parking, was ample and there were a few shops in the area. Pretty quiet neighborhood as well.
Well presented, well equipt property in a quiet area, ample parking in an ideal location close to the dartford crossing. Few amenities close by, everything you need within driving distance.
I would definitely look to see if this property is available again when in the area. I would highly recommend
I traveled with my family. I booked a room at this hotel with an extra bed for a child. Yes, the room was exactly as described and pictured. Everything is clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. The hotel is in a very quiet area and not too noisy and had a great rest.
This is a lovely hotel and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I had 2 bookings which made things a bit confusing but the team sorted it out without any fuss, would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
Location was perfect for Bluewater/Lakeside and all other shopping areas in Dartford and surrounding. Apartment was very spacious. Hosts were great at communication and responding quickly. TV was a great size!
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. The location is good within close proximity to places like the train station in Dartford, shopping malls, street market, and restaurants.
Nice accessible place just off the Dartford crossing , didn't need to enter London rush traffic.
Beautiful area with small lakes around. Hotel itself good with decent facilities and helpful staff
Loved the cleanliness of the place, as well as the ease of communication with the host. Decent value for money, great location and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dartford!
We booked for the location to Brands Hatch, so that was a real positive. Plus close to plenty of Restaurants and other things to do in the Dartford area. Air con was also great.
The environment was beautiful and serene, away from the noisy and rowdy london city.
Breakfast was delicious
Mr Graham and his family were soo amazing and made me feel at home
