Brockenhurst was a great location for us as we were visiting Beaulieu motor museum. We wished we had stayed for longer as we would have had time to explore more like some of the beautiful walks. On our way to the motor museum we drove through the national park the scenery was lovely. We had evening meal at The Filly Inn the food was excellent.

Can get very busy and crowded during peak holiday periods.
Can get very busy and crowded during peak holiday periods. Best times to enjoy the New Forest are probably early Spring or Autumn. Parking a car or larger vehicle can be very frustrating at peak times and electric charge points are very limited in public access areas.

House was in perfect position just by local shop.
House was in perfect position just by local shop. Very clean and had everything we needed. Wasn’t sure how washing machine worked but as stay was short wasn’t used. Perhaps instructions would help. But thanks to host it was all perfect. Would recommend
We absolutely loved our stay at Forest Acorn. The apartment is truly exceptional in terms of comfort, facilities, warmth and location. Brockenhurst is a lovely place to base yourself to explore the New Forest with lots of lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. Our host was very helpful with local tips and was very friendly and accommodating. I knew there was a welcome box but was surprised to see it included bacon and sausages, really lovely touch. On a rainy day we even enjoyed the games available. Thanks for a lovely stay!
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring all areas of the New Forest. We took a guided bus tour, which was great fun. Covid restrictions were still in place and we felt very safe at all times. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and had all the facilities we needed. Also, the restaurant food and wine menus were extensive, plenty of choice. Breakfast was delicious. We highly recommended this hotel.
This house was massive, so many rooms & so much space. We stayed in the Delux Apartment & it was like home away from home. There was a living area with a TV & Tea Making facilities. There were 2 big double bedrooms, a bathroom & an extra stand alone toilet. John was so accommodating, friendly & would do anything he could to make your stay more comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with so much selection, freshly cooked full breakfast, gorgeous.
Breakfast was lovely, nothing too much trouble. The hotel welcomes dogs and accommodates guests with dogs in a smaller, very nice dining area - at this time of year with its own Xmas tree. Lovely Xmas decorations everywhere. The evening menu is delicious too - and many people dropped in for the afternoon tea. A stay here is strongly recommended - the location is perfect for getting straight out into nature.
Good central location for visiting the New Forest and Dorset coast. The property had a dishwasher and washing machine. The street parking worked well for the times that we were at the property. A parking clock was also provided for guest use in New Forest District Council car parks. It was pretty cool to be right in the heart of Brockenhurst among the hustle and bustle of the main Street.
The location was very relaxing as the hotel is set in a huge estate in close proximity to the New Forest.
The food was well prepared and we had dinner on both nights in the adults restaurant well served by George and Mason We enjoyed a room upgrade to a room that was spacious and well furnished. The whole hotel is attractively decorated and the staff were polite and helpful.
Wonderful room, super spacious but with all the touches to make it feel cosy. The owners were really friendly always on hand to help, everything about our stay was top draw, couldn't fault anything. Would recommend to any couples of any age as an ideal gateway to the New Forest. We had a great last meal at Enzee, recommended to us by Ciaran!
Food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, located in a beautiful spot with plenty of walks available. It was exactly what we wanted after a busy wedding weekend, Brockenhurst is a short drive away but we did a lovely walk in the nature reserve next to the hotel to get there. Very peaceful and chilled, would highly recommend.
The room was very well-appointed and the owners had thought of everything in terms of our comfort. The location is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Brockenhurst and very well situated for exploring the New Forest. Parking was available on site, and there was a delightful garden for guests to relax in.
The hotel is in a perfect position within the New Forest, with ponies coming right up to the front door.
The hotel facilities were good and the pet friendly room excellent with doors straight in to the garden.
All staff were very friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay perfect.
The hotel manages to feel luxurious, characterful and homely all at once! It was lovely to have table service every breakfast and to order whatever we wanted. We also enjoyed afternoon tea at the hotel. We visited the village, local pubs and restaurants, mere minutes from the hotel.
This was a self catering let. Very clean and well presented accommodation. Well equipped kitchen/dining facility. Comfortable sleeping/bedding and very good bathing and shower facilities. Central to Brockenhurst and very close to shops so no problem if you run short of milk etc.
Unparalleled setting in the New Forest. Beautiful and charming building and grounds. Breakfasts were fine. Food in the brasserie unspectacular and uninteresting but cannot fault freshness of ingredients and execution. Receptionists and porter were professional and helpful.
All of the staff were super lovely, the hotel itself is gorgeous & very cosy, our room was lovely and modern (shower etc.) and bed super comfortable. Lovely touch to have the room smelling of lavender when we arrived and the radio on. Breakfast was also super tasty!
Staff were very helpful and friendly and made some lovely gestures when they knew it was my partners birthday. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend rhinefield house hotel. Added bonus is that the black water tall trees trail is very close by too!
Very charming and cozy hotel, great choice of dining options, and wonderful spa treatments. Excellent service - staff were really friendly and accommodating.
