The location is good and overall staff are friendly and helpful. Guest room size is reasonable. Restaurant design is bright and comfortable. Food is hit and miss depending on what you order - we have some good paella, others - very average or just edible.

The Wychwood in is well located on the main road so it is easy to access. The staff are pleasant, the food is very good and the establishment is very clean. There is a garden at the back of the property and there is car parking.
A typical Cotswold village without the tourists. The village pub was nice with good food at a reasonable price. The village shop/cafe was good for all essential items.
Definitely would recommend a car for the area to visit all of the other tourist spots in the cotswolds (if that is the purpose of the visit), although we did see a local bus service which would probably allow onward travel to the bigger towns such as Stow on the Wold or Chipping Norton (we did not check the bus timetables so this is just an assumption).
There are no tourist spots to speak of here, more of a jumping off point to other locations.
I would probably stay in Bledington again were I to be visiting the Cotswolds

A very quiet Cotswold village.
A very quiet Cotswold village. Apart from the pub, there is a church, a village community cafe and shop and a lot of beautiful thatched stone houses. Good walking area, but you will need a car to get there and tour about. Short drive from both Bourton on the Water and Stow in the Wold.
Charming old English village pub and hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds, superb location, amazing food, very comfortable and well appointed room, fast WiFi. The staff are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly. I needed a late checkout due to circumstances beyond my control and they accommodated my request without hesitation. When my car key fob battery expired unexpectedly they even helped me replace the battery in it. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough.
The Cotswold region was gorgeous and this was the perfect place to stay! Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The beautiful patio was a wonderful place to have a drink (when it wasn't raining!). The breakfast was amazing with numerous options to choose from. The pub was an active place in the evening but it was quiet at night when we wanted to sleep. The dinners we had were absolutely delicious! We loved this hotel and the area around it. We would definitely recommend it!
Excellent communication with the host, good location for the Cotswold tourist trail and near to Kingham railway station as well as local pub and Bledington community shop is worth a mention. Cottage was misleadingly small from outside but really spacious, very comfy beds, loved the slightly quirky modern with old decor and paintings in abundance. we were there during a heatwave but build of cottage meant it stayed cool.
excellent location, a very comfortable and well presented cottage, quiet and very practical with plenty of hooks and storage. fresh flowers, very comfortable beds and a great host who was responsive and incredibly helpful.
Bledington is a lovely village with the cottage nearby to an excellent community run shop that is a great place for a coffee and snack.
My second visit to this charming hotel! Our room was in the old building: low ceilings, a window overlooking the green, a spacious bathroom and a very comfortable bed . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Dinner was beautifully prepared and presented. The choice of breakfast dishes was excellent.
What a beautiful hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The location is perfect- close gorgeous villages. Lastly, everyone working at the hotel were sweethearts- so friendly and helpful. Thank you! I would definitely stay there again :)
The hotel is incredibly poised to access all the delightful little villages in the vicinity. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we felt instantly at home. There was a very easy going vibe with locals as well as visitors. Breakfast was outstanding.
Reasonably priced and comfortable stay.

Comfortable hotel in a nice location. Convenient to several towns and sights in the area. The restaurant had very good food and service. The room was a bit on the small side but as would be expected in a property like this.
Excellent place to stay with family. Stable lodge has all amenities needed for a long stay. Good communication by hosts for smooth check-in. Ample parking space and you can have a stroll to the farm nearby.
Loved the Cotswolds and felt very much at home in this cottage. We were given clear instructions on how to manage the cottage and helpful advice on what to do getting food etc.
Beautiful place. It is well run by very friendly and efficient staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The surrounding village is simply lovely.
