Lovely room with a comfy bed, modern updated bathroom with one of the best hotel showers I have ever had. The room was spacious and decorated so nice! It felt cozy and luxurious. We loved the breakfast. You could tell it was made with love. Bonus that the food was all sourced from local farms in the area. Such an amazing value for a really unique experience. The property manager was kind, helpful, and check-in/ out was so easy! The property was in close proximity to Chatsworth house. Must stay location in the Peak District.

Fantastic find.
Fantastic find. Needed a stopover whilst working in the area. Mixing work and pleasure, the Devonshire was all pleasure. Good location, (after a fabulous dinner we had a fabulous evening walk from the hotel in the nearby Chatsworth estate. Great value for money. Baslow is a fab place.
Baslow is a fab place. It has lots to offer, including The Cavendish Hotel, which is amazing! There are lots of places to eat, with a variety of styles. It is easy to get round Baslow. I don't need to avoid anything in Baslow, it's got everything I like.

A pretty village with a couple of independent shops, restaurants and pubs (can highly recommend the food at the Prince of Wales.) The main attraction is Chatsworth though which is fabulous and never disappoints!

Pretty clean too, although the mattress wasn't the most comfortable and the room does show its age. Lots of counter space in the bathroom to spread out toiletries and share with another person. Also, the location is fantastic for visiting Chatsworth - about a 7 minute drive. Everything we needed was provided and Penny was amazing and so helpful. Close to Chatsworth, can walk there through the beautiful grounds. Very near to our family and has a pub and a shop opposite! What’s not to like?
