Cozy cabin located amongst a stunning backdrop. All we needed for a night.
A great village to base yourself in. Lots of activities on offer to suit all interests and a number of eateries to choose from. You don't need to travel that far to outer lying villages which also have well established set ups for tourists/ visitors.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

Annamarie was the perfect hostess - she provided a very warm welcome
Nothing was too much trouble -she provided medicinal aid for my wife
who was recovering from severe case of bronchitis
The B & B is located in the most beautiful surroundings with mountains
and lochs with exceptional views
A short distance up the road is the Glen Coe Visitor Centre which is well
worth a visit....
Recommend a 3 night stay particularly if the weather gods provide
sunny and fine weather

attractive village next to a loch.
attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift.
Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy.
Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Ballachulish is small with only a handful or places to eat...
Ballachulish is small with only a handful or places to eat and drink, which we found a bit restrictive as most of them closed at 8pm. The Laroch served nice food, as did the Quarriers Kitchen next door serving takeaway fish, chips, and pizza. Unfortunately we found the area didn't cater well to vegetarians/vegans. The lochside location of Ballachulish is beautiful and a great spot for access to Glencoe.
This was in such an amazing location in Glencoe. Surrounded by the stone mountains. like something out of a fairy tale. My daughter and I walked the West Highland Way for a few days but then had to give into blisters and tired feet. This was such a great place to relax and hang out while my sister finished that days hike. They have a Restaurant and a couple of bar areas that were really fun to hang out at and get a great bite to eat or drink.
the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road!
they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cottage is set just off the A82, out of sight and very private. Connected to the owners home but you won’t hear any noise. I have stayed there twice and will stay again. A small cosy cottage ideal for 1/2 people. Great WiFi and smart TV. Only stayed in the winter so had to cook my own food as local places largely shut. Ballachulish Co-Op is great though.
The atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!
Bit difficult to find as set back from the road and not signposted - turn in at the golf course! Big ex hotel undergoing renovation. Location very quiet with big well maintained garden. Room very comfy. Plenty of tea and coffee - and fresh milk. Breakfast is a help yourself affair, which suited me as I was leaving very early.
Warm and cosy, clean, great amenities, very quiet - close enough to Ballachulish (5 mins?) to be convenient but far enough to be private. This was our second stay in a very short period, having enjoyed our initial stay so much. Welcoming host. Old, established property that has been nicely modernised.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the dining room were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, particularly the Highland game pie! They were able to accommodate for a gluten free diet. The bar had live music and that was good fun.
This a great spot to explore the Glencoe area. There is a nice Loch walk nearby. The accommodation itself was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some good restaurants not far away also. Great for a short stay.
Great one night stop on trek to West highland way. Great breakfast. Room size good for two. Downstairs bar and restaurant handy. Lovely lady attending to rooms in the morning was ready for a chat and cheery.
It is located just by the loch with a great mountain view from the garden. The room was spotlessly clean. WiFi worked well. The host provided helpful information about local restaurants.
Separate accommodations connected to owners residence. 2-bedroom, 2- bath with kitchen and laundry. beautiful setting and close proximity to the highlights of the Highlands
The hosts were very welcoming and the room was appointed to 5 star standard.
A great full breakfast and within walking distance to a lovely restaurant.
