This historic inn offers great accommodation, excellent food, fine wines and real ales. The rooms and bathrooms at Bowl Inn have recently been refurbished, and all feature a Freeview TV.

A real tucked away gem! Booked to stay here while travelling down to Devon, and it’s in a lovely little village so close to the M5, and yet so peaceful and tranquil. It’s a gorgeous historic building (three cottages combined to make The Bowl!) and the room was beautiful, the bed so so comfortable, and the staff absolutely lovely - fantastic service for dinner and for breakfast the next morning!
With views across to the River Severn, this hotel is located in the rural village of Almondsbury but within 2 minutes’ drive of the M4 and M5 motorways.

It was our 4th time stay at Mollies, so obviously we are very fond of this place. Staff, as ever, were excellent, polite, efficient & friendly. The whole place was clean & fresh. Love the rooms too.

There is a reason this place is always booked up. Yes its ideal location for work (hence all business travelers) but its just so practical, clean and easy. I have been coming for years and its my Fave place to stay, I just cant afford their busy/peak Tuesday rates.
Staff are fantastic and the Manager is one of the nicest most helpful people.
comfy beds, great showers, nice breakfasts, decent coffee and come/go as you please.
This stylish country house hotel in Bristol offers spacious rooms, an award-winning restaurant, free WiFi and large gardens. Henbury Lodge Hotel is 1 mile from the M5 (junction 17).
Dreadful link to the local taxi service. The one booked never showed up so I had to drive to central Bristol and pick my car up in the morning. Ruined the timing for the following day. No matter that the hotel does not control the taxi service, they MUST get a reliable link. Cannot afford to risk the same thing again so am forced to go elsewhere. Pity.

The small village is a great place to stay.
The small village is a great place to stay. There’s a real community vibe to the village. A community shop staffed by volunteers provides a decently priced and wide array of products. The church is lovely. On a couple of occasions I needed information and locals went to great lengths to assist me.
The bell ringing practice on Monday night was unexpected, but that shows the level of community involvement. That was the only noise I heard apart from usual pub interactions which weren’t too bad.

I stayed as a drop off point to Cardiff from Central England. Glad I did. Was really cheap but everything was above expectations. I usually use premier inn and this hotel was every bit as good. Highly recommended.

Since I was going on a business it was ok.
As this is the second time this year that I have left the isle of Man and travelled to England, and had poor or medioca hotel and restreaunt/cafe service, I am comming to the conclusion that ,since the end of covid, much of the Englsh hospitality industry is hell bent on recovering their losses, that they want to srew as much money as possible out of clients, not caring too much about the service they offer. I am jolly glad when leaving the Island, I had a good breakfast on the ferry, not waiting until I arrived in England for a meal.

Almondsbury is just outside Bristol, but it felt further out into the country. Pretty village with a beautiful old church with an amazing Inn next door. Wonderful views across to the River Severn and across to Wales. Very easy to find.

Beautifully refurbished hotel with modernised interior and parking place next to it at no extra cost. Excellent food at breakfast and diner time. The location is close to the main road, which gives some traffic noise but not a lot. With closed windows it can't be heard. The room is spacious and clean, looks very modern, has airco and thick curtains. Excellent value for money.
Cozy pub with rooms in small village setting. Parking opposite. Rooms great with comfy king size bed. Bathroom small but fine for a few nights. Very nice menu selection for both breakfast and lunch/ dinner. We had breakfast and dinner on the 3 days we stayed and everything was delicious. My gluten free needs accommodated with ease. Well run pub - lovely staff.
it’s an old inn but everything is redone and very nice inside. the staff was friendly and welcoming. good and drinks were great. plus location off the highway can’t be beat but you still get a small town feeling. If you follow the path out the back of the church up a steep hill you get to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. highly recommend the bowl inn.
Beautiful old inn, great atmosphere, lovely charactful rooms.
Bedroom, we were in Blue at the front, huge bed with beautiful linen. Large shower cubicle, all toiletries.
Hairdryer, iron in room.
Tea and coffee (percolator) facilities.
Breakfast included with an extensive menu.
The Eggs Benedict and scrambled egg with salmon beautifully cooked.
Breakfast is great value for money compared to other hotels. For a buffet is a good standard and was very enjoyable.
The bathroom was brand new and was a nice design with a really good shower.
Beds were a decent size and comfy enough.
Staff were great. Very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely quiet village location but close to major road and rail networks as well as Bristol. Very comfortable bed with nice personal touches of sleep spray and sanitizer as well as a good selection of teas and coffee. Friendly staff. Good breakfast
The room was 'cozy' but I knew that was going to be the case and the bathroom was excellent. The 'eat-as -much-as -you -like breakfast for £7.95 was a first class bonus. Well done
An excellent location to avoid Bristol hotel prices.
The hotel was a budget hotel and for that was okay. Furnishings and fittings were tired and dated. The breakfast was good for a buffet style and plenty of it. Beware cad only, no cash. Was not informed of this.
Recently renovated rooms are nice and fresh and bring the hotel up to scratch. We stayed before out of necessity for work but now would chose it when we have to come to stay in Bristol over others.
I found this hotel during my roadtrip and booked it instantly .Did not expect much , however it was very clean and money worthy .Location is very convenient, easy to find ,just near the highway.
The overall design, location of hotel, free parking, food available if needed. Additional items like iron and board in the room. Staff members very welcoming and friendly.
