Such a lovely hotel amongst the vest vineyards in Burgundy. We stayed for one night en route back from a skiing trip and the hotel was recommended to us by a frequent Burgundy visitor. We weren't disappointed!

Very peaceful location. Breakfast was lovely. The area is beautiful although slightly remote if you don't have your own transport. The owner was very helpful securing restaurants for us and nothing was a problem to her. Always very obliging.

If you are into wine then this whole area is fabulous. In September the grape harvest is underway and there is a real buzz. Plenty of opportunity for wine tasting and good food. The landscape in Vougeot is classic as it is all over Burgundy.SusanUnited Kingdom

The castle is an old medical style castle so very beautiful and a lot of history but for a 4 star luxury hotel, some of the rooms should have been brought up to 4 star standards. Some rooms (my bathroom) for example had clearly not been revolted since the 80s. The facilities (tennis, table tennis, the pool) were great and the staff were were nice despite them making a huge mistake for a booking for me.NicoleBelgium
