The hotel feels fresh and new and the facilities are well maintained. The SPA is well equipped but when you've got young kids running around its not very relaxing. The hotel hosts a jazz / live performance once a week which is lovely. The Ski room is first class. There is also a cinema room which you can book and that's a massive bonus.

Great value apartment in central Samoens, useful parking underneath and well equipped. We were two friends so had our own rooms, one with double bed and en suite shower, the other a bunk bed with additional pull out bed underneath. Roomy for 2, would be cosy for 5 adults but great for those with 2 - 3 children.

Friendly and helpful host. Location comfort and quality
The hotel is a tastefully decorated in white wood and Giffre stone building, ideally situated in Samoëns, a small mountain village nestled in the French Alps.

Lovely little town , short bus ride to chair lift. good ski area but lack of snow in late March a real issue, by the time we left many runs closed. Its a family or couples resort , if your looking for nightlife and plentiful apres ski , its not for you. But for older couples its excellent, plenty places to eat , but you must book or no tables.

Traditional Savoyard village, so nice to walk around.
Traditional Savoyard village, so nice to walk around.
Plenty of restaurants, but most menus were the same, the only difference being price, so need to shop around. Main courses were expensive, eg lasagne around 20€?
Great place to access Le Grand Massif ski area, although the lift pass was expensive

I’ve been to Samoens a number of times and I’m still finding new things to do and see. A wonderful area for winter skiing and in summer there are lots of hiking trails, cycle riding, lovely park for kids with lots to do. Then there is Sixt and Morillion with their own facilities and of course the mountains to be explored - it’s a great place - very french with Savoyard cheeses and wines. Samoens is only 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from Geneva airport and easy to access

A really nice place.
A really nice place. I visited in the summer, I really enjoyed the hikes but you can also go down the river with kayaks, rafts etc, go horseriding, paragliding... lots to do outside of skiing! We had a local naturalist guide taking us to see marmots and showing us edible plants, that was quite a highlight! Otherwise, the city is doing a lot for public transportation, having no car that was a huge plus. The restaurant Grand Cret is absolutely delicious and with a fantastic view .... and even a veggie option! :)

Second visit to Samoens which is a pleasant village, we did not eat out much as in past experience it was busy and expensive so cannot comment on this visit. Pretty town which has all you would need to enjoy a great skiing holiday or even for a summer location. Very lovely walks along the mountain river.
It was exceptionally clean with 4 separate showers/ bathrooms in each of the rooms. This was really convenient. Fire place was nice during the evening and made the whole chalet very cozy. Jacuzzi was a plus after skiing. Living room was large and dining table was also big and could fit all our family members (9 people). Chalet is located not too far from the city center and you can reach all amenities with in 3-5 mins drive. I'll definitely return in the future again.
Incredible views! Great location! This apartment had views all the way around Samoens, with incredible view of Le Crieu from the bedroom and the bathroom, and of the other side from the wraparound balcony. Gorgeous. Also - the swimming pool (which is not at the apartment but only a short walk away across a field) is really very lovely. It's a great asset. Very well equipped kitchen and you can borrow fondue and raclette equipment from the hotel really easily.
It was one of the cheapest places at the last minute. Convenient location, ski bus stop very close by and bus runs frequently to main lift. Close to centre of town. Clean. Big enough for a couple but would be a squeeze with 4. Kitchen well equipped for basic cooking. Friendly lady at the office. We arrived late so they arranged for us to collect a key and also check out a bit later.
the apartment is very nice, large enough to feel comfortable. the kitchen is big and well equiped. the big salon is very confortable and cosy to stay all the family together. the hosts were very responsive, the communication by mail and phone before and during the stay was very good. the location is good, outside the village but close enough to reach ( 10 minutes walk)

Little cozy chalet just at the edge of Samoens. Easy to heat up and remained warm. Adequately equipped kitchen.
I arrived late due to to flights delay, host was understanding and cooperative. Keys were ready for me with the instructions how to find chalet. All worked wonderfully.
We were there for a few days during new year. It was warm so, the ski resort were closed abruptly. My children enjoyed the indoor swimming pool quite a bit. The location was nice, walkable to the town center and closes to the ski resort. We also liked the bread service.
Bedroom had a beautiful view across the valley and mountains.
Room was warm and very clean.
Plenty of car parking if you have a car. Hotel is only 500m from the centre of Samoens so good for walking to and from in the evening.
Staff are friendly and accommodating
Wonderful location, near Samoens centre but very quiet. Owners and staff immensely friendly and helpful, wonderful food and very homely / cosy....the bedrooms too. Nothing at all negative about this hotel.
Great location for skiing, the property is located right near the lift. The hosts were very responsive and kind to let us stay in the home a few hours longer to allow us solving our car problems.
Really great place to stay and welcoming staff. Hotel was really clean and very quaint. Perfect place to stay if you were planning a trip up the mountains . The food was also exceptional!
Very well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for a skiing holiday. The chalet was lovely and well located to walk into the village centre and getting to the ski lifts
The breakfast is royal. It gives you all the energy you need to go skiing. The staff kindly turned on the sauna whenever I needed. They also offer parking in front of the hotel.
Really well situated in the village. Ample secure parking and secure bike storage. Excellent facilities although we didn’t have time to appreciate them all.
