The landscape that opens up and sounds of nature while sitting on the balcony are fabulous. The vibe is perfect. At least, when the hotel is half empty like during my stay. It’s something I highly recommend to enjoy. I wish I had time to spend here one more night.
The standard rooms are not very spacious for 2 persons, however, the balcony compensates that inconvenience.
Very delicious French breakfast.
The hotel is easily reachable by public bus from both Vence and Nice.
This typically Provencal hotel is set 3 km from the village of Saint Paul de Vence and offers an outdoor swimming pool. Guests are invited to relax on the terrace in the hotel's citrus garden.

We stayed in Villa for 2 days. The room definitely had the atmosphere of southern France. The breakfast was also very nice. I hated to leave this room. I strongly recommend this hotel.

18 years ago I stayed at Le Hameau with my husband for his 33rd birthday. I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter and now I visited the place again with my daughter. I thought was so nice that the breakfast was exactly the same as it was 18 years ago. The fresh croissants & the fresh orange juice produced in the garden made our second stay as memorable as the 1st one. This time I also got to meet the owners , a superb Italian couple that were very friendly.

Location was fabulous - right in the centre of the town. Nice large bedroom and bathroom area, with separate sitting room, with lovely views over the surrounding area. Some of the staff were really lovely and friendly. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good.

She surprised us with a delicious and beautifully decorated heart-shaped strawberry shortcake when she found that we were celebrating our 60th

The host told so many lies about my stay. She knew I didn’t have a car and I asked for only one trip to buy my groceries but she didn’t want this. There weren’t any taxis and that’s why the local took me home.I did notify the host.My plane was late which I explained to her. This is so wrong she gives this explanation.

Really lovely place to visit but you only need two to three days there to see everything. Lovely art galleries and shops. The best place to eat was Le Tilleul run by Maxine and his team. Fabulous food and really great service ! Avoid the Colomb D'Or restaurant - overpriced and very basic food. A basket of raw unpeeled vegetables in a basket with a tiny tiny bowl of pate for €40 ! Go and see Atelier Tanagra - lovely artwork, and her recommendation for the Craquelin from Patisserie Palanque in nearby Vence has to be followed.

St Paul is a beautiful historic village, full of art galleries & quirky shops selling lovely local produce. It's an ideal place to spend a day just wandering the cobbled streets & relaxing with a cold drink to admire the views of the countryside. Non slip shoes are a must as the narrow streets can be slippery.

We stayed nearby but visited the town every day or evening. A charming place with extraordinary views. Several good restaurants. cosy atmosphere with folks playing boules at the Place de General de Gaulle. Walking around was easy, however I recommend good walking shoes (the pavements were centuries old and naturally uneven)

A great village full of art shops, and very picturesque.
A great village full of art shops, and very picturesque. It can get very crowded with tourists, but - that's okay: we ARE tourists. I'd like to have seen at least one supermarket, and maybe a few more restaurants. The restaurants we went to were great, and we especially liked Andrea.

We loved this wonderful apartment in the beautiful town of Saint Paul de Vence. It is extremely peaceful and comfortable and decorated with love and care.
I have never experienced such a well stocked kitchen in my life! It had absolutely everything you need and more, even a jar of Vegemite (fellow Australians - you understand!).
Our host Luc was charming and made check in/check out seamless. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to this gorgeous part of France.
Merci beaucoup :)
Beautiful hotel with exceptional decoration in the room. Breakfast was delicious and could be served on the private balcony. The location is good, walking distance from the village. There is a small boulangerie near the hotel which makes it convenient for quick snacks. It is great having a swimming pool, too bad it is unheated for colder months. Only suggestion would be to have tea/coffee facilities in the room as most 4 stars hotels offer.
Joel and the team at the hotel are exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. We also loved the pool, the location and especially the breakfast! Buffet style but plentiful and very fresh every morning. The service overall made our stay extremely pleasant and we were able to visit Antibes, Cannes, Saint Paul de Vence and Monaco easily from this hotel. Parking was easy on site also. Supermarkets and restaurants are within a few minutes drive.
To start with, big appreciation to the staff. They were so amiable and elegant throughout the week.
The superior room was placed downstairs next to the pool with a separated terrace with a nice view of Saint Paul, especially during the night.
The breakfast was great, fresh pastry and superb coffee.
Nice parking spot and in case it is too crowded, the staff will assist you during parking.
Will gladly return next year.
This traditional French hotel has an interior, quiet charm and elegance, and is surrounded by a pool and lovely gardens. I was warmly welcomed by Virginia and made to feel very special. Quiet at night, close to the medieval walls of Saint Paul de Vence, spotlessly clean and comfortable, it is a delightful property for single travellers and couples. I enjoyed it so much I stayed there twice.
Place has a very good vibe.
Spacious rooms with large sliding window door and are nicely decored. Very clean.
Great pool area.
The view over Saint Paul de Vence is just fantastic.
Hosts are friendly and welcoming.
As it is brand new (opened in June 2022) some work on ouside area is in progress and when finished it will look even more great than now.
Place
We really enjoyed our stay at Le Mas des Amandiers! Beautiful property with a lovely garden and pool. The room was clean and cozy and perfect for our short stay. The place is just outside Saint Paul and a short drive to the airport, with places like Menton, Monte Carlo, Nice and Villefrance sur mer less than an hour’s drive. Wendy is an excellent host!
Good location, close to restaurants, art galleries, supermarket, shopping mall, bakery and the beautiful Cote d'Azur. Very modern sunny interior with exceptional terrace with view of the mountains, valleys and Saint Paul De Vence. Excellent amenities: kitchen, new appliances, shower, washing machine, wifi and comfortable furniture. Wonderful hosts!
We loved St Paul du Vence, a lively medieval village. This hotel was an easy stroll to the village for these two active seniors. It was peaceful, and a relaxing afternoon at the pool was perfect. The pool is large enough for laps which is hard to find. Ann is American which was helpful since this was the start of our trip. We had many questions!
Both Pasquale and Yves were extremely welcoming in every way. They answered every question we had for our stay and destinations in the area. The breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. The room was well appointed, comfortable and homey. Definitely 5 stars for Le Mas de Chanoine! Merci beaucoup Pasquale et Yves!
The location, and the help with parking by the hotel staff. If you have a car, it's not far from Nice old town, there is plenty of parking garages you can pick from on a day trip. There's also a nice modern shopping centre nearby if you need it. The rooms were spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
Beautiful and quiet hotel near St Paul de Vence. The rooms were spacious, very clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area was lovely and a great spot to relax in nature. We had the continental breakfast and all products offered were fresh. We recommend this hotel!
What a wonderful place to stay!! Relaxing, comfortable, amazing breakfast, walking distance to town. Will definitely be back if we are in the south of France. Jeanette and David were wonderful hosts. Sam, the puppy, was also a special treat!
Love the location as it was nestled in nature, a stone throw away from Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Top notch customer experience, on top of that they gave us a free room upgrade as it was our honeymoon.
Nothing not to like. Wonderful hotel within walking distance to Saint Paul
D’ Vence Much love and effort put into it . Service is exceptional and care for details
Absolutely a wonderful place to unwind and walk up to the old village of Saint Paul-de-Vence. Food was delicious. Pool was super with views of hillsides.
