Excellent location opposite the train station. Very quiet and no noise from the trains.
The look of the front view of the Hotel does not do it justice to what's inside and lovely accommodation rooms behind it. Great value for money overall. Clean rooms with heater and a large walk in shower was a bonus.
Breakfast area was very clean and plenty of delicious food provided at a reasonable price.
We would recommend the location and there is a bus stop opposite that a free hop on and off bus will take you up into Quimper town / village every 40 minutes.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Room service dinner was excellent and a free dessert was appreciated. Shower and soap products were very pleasant. I’d happily stay here again.

Helpful staff at the Tourist Office; several museums (Musee des Beaux-Arts), some town walks with information boards on the way. Much of the centre is pedestrianised. Plenty of good food (not only crepes, but a large variety of those.) Worth going beyond just the tourist areas (the Cathedral & the Market) for better value & variety. (We liked the Messidor Boulangerie for coffee & croissants.)

The apartment was in Locmaria district a quirky neighbourhood with its own character and nightlife just a 15 minute stroll into the centre where we ate decent French cuisine and also ate well at Mama Thai as the name suggests it was was Thai food but of the highest order

Attractive historic town with great museums and galleries, cathedral, river walks and gardens but not too touristy (in June 2022). Close to other lovely towns eg Concarneau and Pont Aven plus routes to coastal scenery.

I did not want to visit big cities in France during the pandemic.
The city is small but has enough attractions.
Since the transportation is well connected, I used the city as a base to explore several places in Finistère.

Quimper is a very central medium size French city.
Quimper is a very central medium size French city. It does have medieval buildings, but it is very much a working city and somewhat gritty. It is not completely dedicated to tourists, which is good and bad. It felt very authentic, but some parts felt less then safe, secure. The best, prettiest area is the main square around the church. The main tourist area is tiny, but nicely pedestrianized. Also the museum of Breton heritage is well-worth a couple hours. Beyond that, not much too see, but Quimper is a great base for the surrounding region.
If you want to stay in Quimper: look no further and book this apartment, I could easily live here. Very modern and spacious apartment in the historic center near the cathedral and the museum. Everything is within walking distance. Friendly communication with our host Laurine for the key handover. She guided us to a private parking spot near the apartment. We were also treated with some gifts: fresh brioche, butter, wine and juice, very attentive. I'd definitely book this again if we'd visit Quimper again.
I think this was the best equipped apartment since I ever started using booking.com. It is also spacious and perfectly designed. And the location is fantastic, just 50 meters from the cathedral.
The free parking Tourbie is just a few hundred meters away, and on the adjacent streets there is a good chance to find parking as well, though it is paid.
Jelven, the host, was friendly and efficient.
In general, fantastic experience. Merci Jelven, et à la prochaine fois!
Very convenient location in downtown Quimper.
The apartment is clean and spacious. The photos don't do it justice, it is very beautiful and the decor is superb.
I stayed here with my family, and my partner and kids loved it that we ended up extending our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, making cooking easy.
Lastly, the host Nicolas is very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
It is a small Hotel that is obviously run by people who really care. The building itself looks old and impressive, the inside contemporary, with attention to detail and enhanced by work sourced from local artists. Each room was unique which makes a wonderful change from the chain hotels, with their numerous prints and standard bedroom furniture. Plus plenty of private parking…always a bonus!
The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I applaud the hotel’s efforts to be energy conscious and to avoid waste. It was nice to have flat and sparkling water on tap. The hotel is easy walking distance to the cathedral and museums. Good wifi. I would definitely stay here again.
Check-in was easy with a code to get in. The key was in our room. The room was clean. We needed a hotel within walking distance to Gare Quimper which was right across the street. We walked down to a pub a couple of blocks down which we enjoyed. We walked to old town Quimper from there.
Very quiet room and comfortable bed, we slept very well. The staff is friendly and helpful. You also have a decent coffee machine in the room. The hotel is easily reachable by car without getting tangled in small streets and you're 5min on foot from the historic center.
We had an apartment on two floors with a big bed on second floor. The private spa was very nicely made. Breakfast was one of the best we had. The staff was very helpful and gave us not only restaurant tips but also awesome traveling tips in Brittany.
Excellent apartment for a stay in Quimper- very well equipped and comfortable, we felt welcome and at home. Easy short walk to the market and attractions. Hélène was extremely helpful and flexible, outstanding communication. Highly recommended.
The apartment is lovely, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is a cocoon indeed! As far as location is concerned it is just so easy to walk around in Quimper’s old cobbled streets and to nearby restaurants and places of cultural interest.
