A stunning location, beautiful building, wonderful room and super service. Would not hesitate to return.
The food at the hotel was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. However, be warned that this is chambre d'hote which means it is less like a hotel and includes eating with the other guests in the chateau around one large table.
The wines were also excellent.

The pizzeria to which she directed us, Pizzeria des Arcades in Carentan was the best value for money we've ever met with in a French pizzeria, & there was a huge range of choice in syrups for drinks, ice cream flavours for the desserts & the pizzas themselves.
The bed was very comfortable
The breakfast was copious, & included a delicious cake made on the premises.

Operates from lock box and they email code prior to arrival. The little apartment appears to be newly refurbished. Nice little town, multiple grocery stores nearby. Private parking right outside the door to the apartment. Would not hesitate to stay here again as it is convenient to visit all the landing beaches and museums.
