The property itself is beautiful , lovely design, very cosy, warm (we stayed in april so it was important), in historical center with a possibiilty to park in front of the property. The floor with a fireplace is very romantic. Elena, the host was always online and open for all our enquires and questions. She knows good restaurants around, she let us stay till late afternoon, as she did not have guests the next day. So it was very helpful to have such a host. If we ever come back, we will stay here again. Absolutely recommend.

We have been before many times before it's a great little town with may good restaurants. Nice shops and a lovely OAP home in the high street. We lots of retired people sitting outside watching the world go by. So lovely to see and interact with.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Picos de Europa is a stunningly scenic area especially popular with motorcyclists. Potes has an alpine feel about it and charmingly rustic. Lots of restaurants in the village and supermarkets. The roads in the area are narrow and twisty.

Potes lives up to its tag as one of the most Beautiful villages in Spain with delightful sights round every corner . Plenty of bars and restaurants , we enjoyed sampling bottles of the local cider from the novelty dispenser on the bar (see photos) in La Maison La Torre along with tasty tapas which was all reasonably priced The Casa Cayo has wonderful, friendly and efficient staff , the restaurant overlooks the river and the food looked delicious although we didn’t eat here as we had already eaten we enjoyed a few glasses of the local wine We would love to return to beautiful PotesJoanneUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

My family and I enjoyed every moment in Potes, can't wait to go back. It was worth the 9 hour drive and would glady do it again. Beautiful views and places to explore from morning till night. So many adventurous activities to do in potes and nearby towns. The kids enjoyed doing zip wiring and going up in the cable cars to the mountains. Lovely variety of restaurants to choose from and some with outdoor seating with lovely views. The local people were were very welcoming and helpful.Ranvir KaurSpain - 10Scored 10

Potes is an ideal base to explore the picos and is a lovely little town, had our ferry company not cancelled our original crossing on us at very short notice ( 30 minutes) we would have had an extra two days here which would have been more preferable to riding down through France on a motorway. Food and drink establishments are in abundance and you can have a very pleasant 3 course meal with a glass of wine or beer for €14 and even an expensive top end meal will only cost $25 a head with drinksDavidUnited Kingdom

Amazing view from the room. Nice big breakfast. For us the location was perfect as we wanted to hike the Ruta del Cares from Cain, up to Bulnes and Fuente De. Potes is a great town centrally located between all three hikes, which were all spectacular. The owners were so helpful. They also run an adventure tour business next door and can help with shuttles or 4 wheel drive tours.MaryUnited States

We stay at the first floor apartment and was clean, confortable and with a nice balcony viewing the town. Kitchen has everything you need and the Chocolate Orujo left as a present is a plus. Staff downstairs at the wonderful store was nice and gave us good recommendations for eat and site visits. Definitely, the place to stay in Potes.

The owner is super nice, helpful and friendly. We got extra attention for our dog, including a wonderful bed for her, bowls, blankets and of course a river outside the door. Potes is a beautiful town, Apartment El Nial makes it even nicer!
