Walking into the hotel we were warmly greeted by Jose making us feel very welcome. The hotel is stunning, the staff are very helpful, friendly whilst remaining professional. Our room was exceptional, clean, beautifully decorated, lovely view. There were robes and slippers, fruit and water for us to enjoy. We loved everything and had a fabulous time.

The AluaSun Doblemar is an enormous hotel located on the shores of the Mar Menor and just 250 metres from the Mediterranean Sea.

Disgusting... The bathroom absolutely stunk... The food was total slop... Catering for dentures and very little of anything... It was cold and like a cattle market... Booked 3 nights half board... Went in the canteen ( couldn't possibly be called a restaurant) once in the evening and left within 5 minutes.. Went in for breakfast... No eggs and absolutely packed with people trying to find something half decent to eat... Never went back... And will never ever go back... DON'T GO!!! 2* NOT 4*

We had a fantastic stay .Marie, with the curly hair at the reception, was very helpful and provided us with all the information necessary . The customer service was excellent 👌 Antonio and his team were amazing , lovely sangria and cocktails. Antonio goes out of his way to give the customers satisfaction . Again, it was very helpful , I will consider the food festival he mentioned in September. You're a star, Antonio ... A place to visit and explore again . Many thanks, kaveeta and family .

Breakfast was fine but we were at the end of the season when we think lots was closing down so probably not the same as in high season. Location was ok for us as we have family there but would not visit otherwise as nothing to do.
