The apartment was clean and well-maintained with a fully equipped kitchen where nothing was lacking, allowing for easy meal preparation. The large comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, the availability of fast WiFi made it convenient for staying connected, while the parking right in front of the house provided hassle-free parking. I highly recommend this apartment for its amenities and convenience. Moreover, the excellent communication with the landlord added to the positive experience. Overall, it provided an excellent base for motorized travelers.

We chose this location because we had previously visited on...
We chose this location because we had previously visited on a day trip.The town has excellent shops,cafes,bars and restaurants and you have the feel of a genuine Spanish experience rather than a "tourist" town. We stayed 3 weeks over the Christmas period and explored the west side of the island using the very efficient local bus network. We enjoy walking and this area is exceptional for the variety of scenery.

El Remo is a very small village at the end of a small road.
El Remo is a very small village at the end of a small road. Very quiet with traditional houses in front of banana plantations on the undercliff. The area to the north of it was where the volcanic eruption took place. There is a temporary road to Los Llanos de Aridane but this is being improved all the time. Only one place to eat was open in El Remo when we visited. It served typical local seafood and was very popular - especially at lunchtime and sunset looking out over the sea. This is not a typical beach holiday area; more a getaway to a remote, quiet village next to the ocean.MarionUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nice compact centre with many restaurants and places to sit and enjoy your lunch / coffee. Also a great place when you like hiking. There a many hikes at close distance. The centre is a disaster for foreign travellers by car. I think there is no accurate map with the right oneway roads. So you keep turning. However there is no need to enter the centre by car, there are some large parking places near the football stadion (in the North), very close to the centre.Emile A.A.Netherlands

The communication with the owner was extraordinarily good, the place is unlike other accomodations really euiped with anything you could possibly need. El Remo is the perfect place to relax at the beach, it just feels like paradise. It is a more remote place, so a car is a must, but that as well allows you to visit all the other amazing places on la Palma. We really hope to be able to come back again!
