It has amazing views and it can be a quiet place!
I say "it can be" because a car parked in the street that runs alongside the house and they stayed chatting with very loud music until late at night. It's good to know it's not an isolated castle.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was on time and the girl that was there working was friendly and an amazing person. The beds were really comfortable and the Hotel was very Clean. The Town was really nice as well.

The town is a small village along the highway.
The town is a small village along the highway. There are several cafe's and restaurants, check on the internet for opening hours. We normally eat near our hostal. We also take a little walk up and down the main street. Not that much going on, but perfect, if you are on the move, and you just need one overnight stay, before you move on.

Coming south through Spain, an ideal location to spend a night north of Madrid, around 350 kms from Santander. 'what's simple works best' is how I would helpfully describe this hotel. Good rooms, beds, bathroom, locals were curious and friendly, menu del dia was OK, so were snacks. Parking........tight......watch out for the support posts. Good to be fresh for tackling the ring road next morning. Would use this hotel again.

A beautiful small town at the base of the mountains. Lovely area in Centre with bars and little shops used by locals which gives a great atmosphere. A few good restaurants within walking distance of where we stayed. Good stop off place between North coast ferries and Southern Spain. It could have really done with an electric or cooker kettle , stayed before and this time took a travel kettle, really needs one as tea or coffee is a must for most people, microwave hot water is a bit of a pain. Small pick, but otherwise an excellent place to stay.DavidUnited Kingdom

Very conveniently located just off the highway and as a motorcycle traveller arriving in very wet weather the covered parking was great. The covered parking was a real bonus allowing me to unpack the luggage and secure the bike without getting any wetter. The hotel is quite traditionally furnished with some quirky touches that are interesting. The bar is obviously a meeting place for local people to enjoy a coffee, drink or something to eat.
