Great breakfast. Wanted to eat all of the options but the bread was too tasty and I was always too filled up with rolls and great kännchen kaffee to manage all the cheeses and cereals. Room was a large double. Very friendly staff made me and my daughter very welcome. The rooms, bathroom and all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. Did I mention breakfast?

The hotel is situated in a peaceful, pleasant part of Hamburg where you can really relax. A bank is right across the road, Lidl is a couple of doors down and there are very good restaurants nearby. It’s a German hotel run by Germans so you get a genuine German experience. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the train station so all parts of Hamburg are easily accessible since the public transport system is incredible (and very cheap). This is one of the few hotels who include breakfast as standard and it was very enjoyable. Great value in such a lovely area.
