The cocktail bar and the bar staff was amazing. The tall bartender guy was trying to make up for our entire trip and he was doing amazing job I must say, if it wasn’t for him I’d give lower score. The morning reception staff was also very friendly. The breakfast was good and also available longer hours than most of the hotels.

For the city in general, more English speaking would be better for the city, but it’s understandable why they wouldn’t speak as much English compared to other cities. Regardless I really enjoyed my stay and people were friendly and good hearted in general, I recommend anyone to take a visit when possible.
It’s very simple to get around via public transport. The food is good and there is a lot to choose from.

The city was bigger than expected with a lot to do. The Palace was a museum/gallery rather than a traditional palace and I would highly recommend climbing the tower stairs! Lots of other museums, churches and gardens etc or there are loads of places for shopping.

There's a youthful college-town vibe to the cafes and bars downtown; the city is flat so it's easy to walk everywhere, the Natural History Museum is not to be missed if you like that sort of thing, public transport is better than most, very good restaurant scene

It is in a beautiful location in the Schwarzwald.
It is in a beautiful location in the Schwarzwald. The hotel is in a quiet location though a five or so minute walk from the hauptbahnhof. If zoos are your thing there is one literally across the street. The location is well connected with busses, trams, and trains. You can see so many surrounding towns this way. Either get a land ticket (regional trains) or a day ticket (bus and trams).
I would visit again Karlsruhe again.

Karlsruhe is a modern city with a Palace which is now a good museum. The grounds are lovely as are the gardens at the zoo. Karlsruhe is a good place to stay for day trips to Baden Baden and Heidleberg.x
This is just an absolutely charming hotel to stay at. Its unmistakably stylish and quirky design paired with excellent service is a wonderful combination for everyone looking to visit Karlsruhe. The rooms are very clean, tidy and comfy, plus there is a brewery on site which guests receive special coupons for. Asides the overall atmosphere being lovely inside the hotel and brewery; the location is lovely, quiet and convenient, being only a five minute walk away from the central city area. We loved everything and will definitely be coming back.
The ANA Eden is a very nice, comfortable hotel. Staff were generally very helpful and cooperative and reception willingly agreed to print some documents for me without charge. My room was pleasant but a rather curious shape with a thin corridor running along the window side. In the heat wave from which Germany was suffering at the time the air conditioning worked well - almost too well! Good, strong (free) wifi.
I liked the way the middle-aged man in the morning, during serving breakfast, as long as the young lady in the reception treated me! First time in my life as a Germany traveller ( and they are a lot, maybe 4-6 times per month) treated me like that! Usually a big range of German people treated me bad, with no polite and not helpful way. That day was not one of the usually days in Germany!!! Well done....
Large spacious room. Clean with all modern amenities. The hotel was perfection located across the street from the Christmas Market. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with many selections including eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit, muesli, cold cuts and a wonderful selection of fresh breads.
This is a plain, modern hotel conveniently located for the center of Karlsruhe. I was there for the Hândel Festival, and chose the Leonardo because there's parking space and the hotel takes pets. I wasn't looking for a boutique hotel, just a reasonable place to stay the night.
We ended up in Kaiserhof because we needed a hotel for the night as we were stranded travellers. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Karlsruhe, we had a family room, which was totally fine for us. The breakfast was delicious with many different options!
We enjoyed the hotel for the short time we were there. The staff was nice and helpful and the room was nice. The later checkout in comparison from other places was very much appreciated because you don't need to rush in the morning gathering your baggage, etc.
This is the second time we stay here and this hotel never disappoints. The room was nice, comfortable, and as it was during the week, we could park the car in the free spots within the hotel premises. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was nice.
Very comfortable room, excellent bed, close to train station, very friendly staff. Parking tip....
a few spots in front of hotel without charge, or large public parking lot directly across the street for 6 Euros per day.
Awesome breakfast with high quality food and coffea
Competent and nice hotel staff
Big and confortable room. Nice views from the city
Water, coffea, tea available in the room
Sweets available at the reception
I liked the supportive nature of the reception desk and the cleanliness maintained on the property. The fact that the hotel had a lawn attached to it right outside the room was a bonus!
