it is a cozy little hotel in the Black Forest, perfect for a night’s sleep after a long hike. The restaurant at the hotel was cozy and had great service and the breakfast at the sister hotel next door is the best I have ever had. The ability to use the amenities at the sister hotel make this a great value for the money.

Our stay at the hotel was ok, the room was comfortable if a little poor quality (the bathroom fittings were falling off their hinges) and dated/old fashioned. We did get a free upgrade to a bigger room but unfortunately the room we got seemed to be above the kitchen and the smell of food was difficult to avoid and lingered for our whole stay. The facilities were nice though - the sauna and pool were great.
