The bed was great and shower pressure was great.
The breakfast was excellent- plentiful and varied choices.
The hotel is in an excellent situation- away from the noise of the main square but close enough to walk into the center of town easily.

The rooms were adequate and not cramped. Everything was clean and the staff was pleasant. We were out late exploring the nearby Reistna and the kitchen still served us some hot food after they closed.

There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not...
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not enough for us. If you rush you may get it all in but it would not be enjoyable. We traveled in the off season and it was beautiful. We will return in peak season to see the gardens and enjoy all the area has to offer. Keep in mind most things close at 4:00.

Valtice is a small city with a pittoresque main square and a beautiful castle. Most of the buildings have been renovated and kept the historic style. There is a laid back atmoshhere as the town is not too touristic. Cycle tracks are leading through vineyards to Ledice and Mikulov. It is not just Valtice but three cities that are close to each other - Valtice, Lednice and Mikulov. Beautiful castles, huge gardens, a lot to see by walking, riding bicycles or using a horse carriage. Historic sites that are marked by UNESCO as a European garden.

The accommodation is spacious, neat, clean, and has a small kitchenette. There is also a nice garden with a swimming pool but we did not use it as the weather was not very hot. Another positive feature is a parking place at the site. The owner is friendly and helpful. She called us before arrival, met us at the site and showed the apartment. To check out we could just leave the key on the table and leave. I strongly recommend this facility.

We served a bottle of N48 on the terrace in the evening that was very good. Parking was free of charge. There are parking spots inside the courthouse and in front of the gate. Do yourself a favour and book this accommodation. You won’t regret it.:)

They let us into the apartment earlier so we could drop off our things which was highly appreciated. Apartment was clean, spacious and comfy. It is possible to lock your bikes in extra room which is quite handy (or any other large items). We were 100% satisfied with everything!
