Apartamento Los Andes, hotel in Los Andes

Boasting mountain views, APARTAMENTO LOS ANDES is located in Los Andes, 700 metres from Mall Espacio Urbano Los Andes. Guests have access to free WiFi.

The host - everything was VERY nice explaining everything! This complex of apartments is with 24/7 security + the place for parking is free underground. There are Netflix + Disney if you travel with kids (super because they will be busy while you can do you things). The kitchen is FULL. Even a washing machine is there! Beds are very comfortable. 2 bathrooms (one is with a bath tube!) will help you not to wait each other. If you travel from Argentina - it is really worth to stay to rest off the driving. The view is also fascinating!

Departamento Los Andes, hotel in Los Andes

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Departamento Los Andes is situated in Los Andes. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Apartment owner Veronica grew up in the United States, so it was a refreshing change to be able to speak my native language for a change (I could tell SHE loved that aspect, also). The apartment has a new, high-capacity air conditioner that took care of record-breaking summer temperatures BAKING the city of Los Andes....which has NO "alpine height refreshing breezes"....as one might falsely-imagine. IRONICALLY, Los Andes was 4 degrees hotter than nearby Santiago !!!

It is an unattractive town in a beautiful place.

It is an unattractive town in a beautiful place. My main reason for stopping was to see the archeological museum, which had very good reviews. The town's web site lists it as an attraction, but it has evidently been closed for weeks or months. Nothing about opening hours or reopening date is posted outside. The web site also lists a tourist information center as open during the day, but it too was closed, and no new hours were posted.

This hotel was a surprise for us. We had planned an overnight stay to break up the drive from Mendoza to La Serena. The hotel in the small town of Los Andes turned out to be one of the nicest of our trip. It is very modern with large comfortable rooms. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel restaurant had a great kitchen. When we checked out we immediately made reservations for our return trip and the second stay was just as pleasant as the first.

Los Andes is a beautiful small town north of Santiago. It is close to Portillo, wineries and the beach. Its a much calmer location than Santiago. The apartment was very centrally located and had lots of room and great views. The landlord was very attentive and friendly. There is good security for the building. We would definitely stay here again.

There are few hotels in Los Andes, and this one is fair for the price. As an extranjero, I didn’t have to pay the VAT tax which brought the price down to a more reasonable rate. The rooms were fine and breakfast was decent. Staff were very friendly though and helpful. Parking was secure and some under carport cover.

The location is the only good thing the hotel has. It provides a peaceful environment where all you hear are the birds chirping throughout the day along with a green scenery.
