I love it.
I love it. I have been there several times throughout my childhood and teenage years (so beware my opinion is biased).
There are lots of hiking and mountain biking options available with differing degrees of difficulty. But you can also take the gondola or bus for the main attractions if you want to take it easy.
It's a nice place for people with kids as well as older people. A nice village with all necessary things/ shops available (just be aware of opening hours; shorter than city ones).
The nature is awesome and lot's of things/ places can be newly discovered even after several visits prior (speaking from experience (Iffigenalp and Nessli).

Cute little town surrounded by amazing scenery.
Cute little town surrounded by amazing scenery. We only stayed the night on our stop hiking the Via Alpina Route. Perfect place after a days hiking with the pool and spa. Well connected with bus and train in the centre of the town.
Good sized coop if you need to stock up.

Lenk is a relatively small and quiet village tucked away at the end of the valley. There are two ski areas, the larger one links with Adelboden and has more than enough for a ski holiday. Bus services link the two ski areas and the train service even links Lenk with other ski resorts further back down the valley.
There are a selection of restaurants, over the years, we have tried them all and have never been disappointed.
If you are looking for wild âpres-ski and endless discos, don't go to Lenk. There are one or two places but it is not the Ibiza of the mountains.

We visited Lenk for a weekend. Despite the weather being rainy we were able to enjoy the surroundings. The town has some lovely shops and cafes and the views of the mountains are spectacular. There are some lovely waterfalls at the end of the valley which are well worth a visit.

Lenk is a small town at the head of the Simmental with mountains rising all around. Two cable cars offer rewarding trips to higher ground where marked trails tempt the casual walker to explore the beautiful scenery.
The breakfast was rich. An excellent full buffet (English and continental breakfast). The hotel is in an excellent location. The restaurant should offer simpler and cheaper menus, especially if it intends to accommodate families on a tight budget. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. However, it is clear that there is a lack of staff and that the owner is not present (a problem in many small and medium-sized hotels).
My friends and I booked a room for 4 people (had 2 bedrooms and a big bathroom with 2 sinks, a shower and a bathtub) that was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the mountains. The breakfast was very nice, with a variety of options, and the staff really friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to reach, just a short walk (or even shorter bus ride) from the train station. Overall we were really happy with our stay!
Beautiful clean apartment located in the centre of Lenk. The apartment is very modern and the view from balcony is beautiful. The kitchen has all the equipment and is very well designed and exceeded the expectations. The rooms and bathroom are nice . Grocery store is located 3 mins away from the apartment.
Few things are confusing if you are coming for the first time like check in / check out process and parking.
We were only given essential information about our stay. No additional help or information about the resort or even the facilties in the Hotel were given. The reception was good for checking in and checking out, useless for everthing else. There was no bar. The Lobby could have been a nice place to relax in, if it were open. All was behind closed curtains. A real shame.
Picked the hotel based on reviews, and because we wanted to revisit the Lenk-Zweisimmen area where we'd stayed before.
About the sole positive points are the friendly staff, and the central location in town. Pool is okay but quite gloomy in the setup, and some maintenance issues. And dinner restaurant had a good menu and decent prices.
Wonderful staff and amenities. The hotel is excellently organized despite the pandemic. Outstanding health and cleanliness measures. The food down to the last detail was excellently presented and overall great. Even the kid menus were of high gourmet.
Simple hotel with extremely accommodating staff. The location is perfect - right next to lenk train station, walking distance from betelberg ski field and a short bus ride from the bigger adelboden-lenk ski resort.
Very close to the train station, convenient if you arrive without a car. They offer you a public transportation card in the price of the accommodation. Well connected to the ski slopes.
Sonja was a great, helpful host. Spacious room with balcony and sink. Plus much transportation in the Simmental Valley is included…trains & gondolas! The breakfast is good & generous.
The hotel lived up to its name. The view as tres belle indeed. We loved sitting on our balcony with the valley stretched out before us ending in spectacular snow-capped mountains.
Great value for all this hotel has to offer!!! Comfortable big room with gorgeous views of the Simmental mountains. Perfect location for summer hiking and train travel.
awesome location of the property, very clean and located strategically, about 5 mins walk to the train station
Spacious apartment with lovely sunset looking balcony
