Mountain location; quietness except for the lovely cow bells; well-appointed apartment; easy access to the apartment from the car (parked right out front); no stairs to climb; 20 minute drive to Lucerne; lovely clean apartment with a great kitchen. Most importantly, the host Claudia was delightful and friendly.
Opening in December 2016, Boutiquehotel Anker Luzern is located in a historical building in the centre of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square.

The staff were amazing from the moment we entered the hotel. We were given a room upgrade with views of the snow-capped mountain. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were a bit soft so we asked for a harder pillow which was not a problem for the staff, they brought us another 2 pillows but later found that all their pillows are made of feathers to help those with allergies which is great. The room had double walls, which was great because we could not hear any noise from the street.
The hotel was within walking distance to the centre of town and 10min walk to the train station.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luzern.

This property is very conveniently placed in Lucerne, once you walk out the front door everything is within a five to ten minute walk. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Would stay again.

We loved our gorgeous room on the 6th floor with our own private roof-top garden (even though we didn't use it much as it was too wet). The beds and pillows were heavenly. The buffet breakfast downstairs was also much appreciated. And the receptionist was extremely nice and helpful, thank you.
Stay at the historic, half-timbered Hotel Rebstock dating from the 14th century, surrounded by a lot of contemporary art, where the people of Lucerne too enjoy wining and dining.
