The rooms, the staff and the location were all great. Now that we moved to a 4-star hotel for the second half of our stay in Baden, we can definitely say that we wished we stayed longer in Ibis, for the wonderful staff and the air conditioning haha.

Relaxed ambience. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet village but near clock bells!! Buses every 15 minutes, outdoor spaces for warm weather and somewhere to store out bikes. Would go again

From the very first moment, the warmth of the atmosphere and attention to detail envelop you, creating a sense of comfort and familiarity. The ambience is marked by a charming stage that adds a touch of charm to your stay, while the rooms, though not lavish, provide a tranquil and comfortable retreat. However, the highlight is the genuine and friendly service from the staff, who strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Allocation is great, just in front of the TRAFO convention centre and a 2-minute walk from the train station.

Baden has a beautiful old town with cobble stones and a riverwalk. Lots to explore, walking up to the Castle ruins, has a casino, thermal baths, cafés, restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques. The public transportation is amazing with the train station right there by the old town and all the buses. Only 20 min. to the Zurich main train station. Great connection as well if you'r traveling by car. Baden has a good feel to it.

Town with excellent services (for example public transport is very efficient). Old town is beautiful with nice shops and cafes. To visit the ruins of the castle, the riverside and the wooden bridge; do not miss the thermal baths. For Italian tourists, however, everything in Switzerland is very expensive

Baden is lovely.
Baden is lovely. Small but full of shopping, food, nature and cultural options. We went to the Spa Forty-Seven (fantastic!) and the Children's Museum (save time for the games area on the lower floor). We also enjoyed the lovely town center and the river area. The walking path next to the river was really super. Would go back to repeat everything and add a visit to the Langmatt museum and more walks in the area and other restaurants.

The Saturday market food shopping for fresh and local produce is fabulous. Walks by the riverside, in the old town and up to the castle and vineyards are good.
Train station is not too far to walk to with access to Zurich and Basel.

The city is beautifully overlooking the river and is very green all around. It has sufficient shops and malls and central train station is well connected to other cities in Aargau and Zurich. Only small con would be that shops close super early (around 6 or 7), hence it is difficult to buy anything during weekdays if you are traveling for work. It is easy to get around and explore this fascinating medieval city just walking, distances are not a problem. Best places are central area where town hall is and from there you can explore the riverside and old city. Also shopping for cloths and accessories is 2 min walking distance from town hall.
The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful big garden with lovely singing birds, trees and repaxing lovely pool.the staff is super welcoming.we had an early check in as well as a late check out with no additional cost.the hotel have also a lovely restaurant in the garden that provide a nice romantic atmosphere.I will be more than glad to come by again! They also provide mini fans to cool down the hot summer nights!
Good hotel to stay when working in this area. It is possible to visit the very well equipped gym, which is in the neighbour building, for free. A place for buying food is around the corner and there also a few bus stops quite close the the hotel. There is also a spacious fridge in the room. Good choice.
The location in the Spa area of Baden was great and a lovely walk along the river path to the centre of Baden. Useful to have use of the washing and services area and a lift to access the apartment on the 1st floor. The kitchen and the bathroom/shower area had everything we needed for our stay.
clean and renovated room, good value for the money, day pass for public transport to be requested at the reception & paid parking (15 chf day) available both outside and in the garage: I recommend to park in the structure and use public transport to reach the city and visit the thermal baths.
Great breakfast buffet in lovely atrium. Comfortable, quiet and air-conditioned modern room in very old hotel. We relaxed in the evening with the free thermal baths and ice mist shower. I enjoyed the interesting history of the hotel and the massages we booked.
The location of the hotel is just perfect thinking of accessibility to restaurants, shops, parks, museums, train station, bus stops, trails etc. Nobody bothered me during my 4-night stay. The kitchen is well equipped.
Great location, very close to the station and all connections. Clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast and a really nice bar downstairs connected to the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.
Loved the breakfast!
