Hotel was very accommodating. I'm gluten free and they provided GF cereal and bread for me (win!). The breakfast spread had a lot of options and everything was tasty.

The location was superb, right at a lift in the heart of the ski resort with easy access by train. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the specific room I had was suitable for a couple and was clean, even with slippers provided. The bed was fine. The breakfast was fully sufficient.

The hotel is well located in the village close to the railway station. The parking is just outside the hotel and there is plenty of space parking.
The staff is very service minded and friendly.
The hotel breakfast was good but missing the scrambled eggs were not available each day.
Our room was spacious with a spacious bathroom.

Andermatt is a cosy little ski town that is far from the party vibe of somewhere like Verbier. The benefit of that is it's not as busy and the prices are a little more "affordable" shall we say (keeping in mind it's still Switzerland!). While it feels much smaller its very easy to get to by train - the journey there is breathtaking! The little train that takes you directly from mid-mountain to the other resorts close by is brilliant as well. Only thing missing might be a bit more of an après-scene on the mountain I would say (if you're into that). Also should be noted they are building a huge new village next to the old village which will be awesome when it's complete. But until that point there are a few cranes and some drilling noises that may bother some people (didn't bother us!).

Andermatt is a lovely town that includes an exceptional ski resort. The town itself has several lovely restaurants, pubs, wine bars, coffee shops. There is a small, but well stocked grocery store as well. The locals were very kind. Felt very safe. Family friendly.

For the two days I was there, I loved Andermatt.
For the two days I was there, I loved Andermatt. It has a spectacular setting amongst stunning mountain scenery. I stayed in a lovely guesthouse (Zum Sternen) in the picturesque village centre with a beautiful Chapel just above the square and typical mountain river flowing nearby. Full of colour with local and Swiss national flags flying, and beautiful wooden buildings. I will definitely come again...and again.....

Andermatt is a small alpine village, ideally located for the Gotthard Pass, Furka Pass and Oberalp Pass. The village is flat and easy to get around by foot, bike or car. Excellent train connections including the Glacier Express. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Ideal for cycling and trail running.

Andermatt is a beautiful little town with all the amenities you really need. A well-stocked grocery store and numerous shops, easy train and bus access, a free ski shuttle, rental shops for outdoor gear, hiking and biking trails galore, and spectacular mountain views. Everything seemed to be a 15-minute walk from everywhere, which was very convenient; plus making use of the free shuttle simplified walking times (bus drivers were very friendly and willing to stop and ask if we needed a ride). Everyone spoke English well, which simplified our travel experience. Switzerland is very expensive, and Andermatt is no exception; consider checking menu prices before committing to a week spent dining in restaurants (we had an apartment and cooked more than we dined out). We did have some spectacular traditional fondue at Hotel Sonne’s restaurant (in the downtown), which was a delight.

Andermatt is located in the very core of the Lepontine Alps, close to many passes and breathtaking mountain views. Either in Summer of winter, the town is plagued with amenities, activities and excursion courses. Restaurants and ok and always enjoying the Swiss traditional class. Swiss is expensive, but the trip worths every Franc. I will return thousand times. Switzerland is the only country where anyone may feel at home once you arrive.
The location was absolutely perfect and the staff absolutely amazing! We were able to leave our bicycles in their skii room which was locked and only accessible to hotel guests, other guests had bikes too.
We missed our train and arrived late into Andermatt but the staff were amazing and waited for us! We had a mechanical issue with a bicycle needing urgent repairs in Zürich!
Omg and that bed was just so amazing! So happy that this was our first night off the plane! Couldn't have asked for better!
The Italian lady that checked us in and out was lovely. Parking was available for us (once I found it, further up the road and tucked behind a restuarant), but we did get charged extra for it. Rooms clean, tidy and had what we needed. A fridge would have been handy but not essential. This was a stopover in Switzerland for our road trip, exploring the alpine passes. Ideal location, right at the bottom of the Furka Pass.
In the overall, it's really a good hotel, and you'll find the comfort of a 4-stars hotel. So it was good, but not as amazing as we were expecting based on previous experiences elsewehere (so not sure I'll go back there). The breakfast was really good, wonderdul waffles and local cheese. The beds are good, nice bathroom. The presence of the spa, swimming pool,...
They are a lot of things to do in Andermatt.
Modern apartment and spacious ( I booked Superior 80 square meters) and nice location but it lacks many things. As check in takes place in Radiason Blu near hotel, it is much better to stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel, you will pay more for your comfort & get much more services (breakfast, pool access, gym, room service, cleaning, etc) l.
Car wash at the parking basement was a good thing.
Lovely looking hotel that sits on a great driving road. The staff were lovely and polite speaking good English. Breakfast was lovely too. I woke up to 4" of snow covering my car and the staff we happy to provide me with tools to clear it.
There was also a 50" (approx) TV in my room with Fire Stick installed, so I could watch youtube/netflix etc which was a nice touch.
The location is great. Right in the center. You can walk around the town and walk to the ski lifts too.
We could chose from 2 rooms and our room was very nice with a balcony where you can have a drink.
Parking is easy and we could leave the car there on the second day without any issues.
We ate at the hotel restaurant and found it perfect.
Hotel Crown was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The ski storage room and bus to the lift were very nice amenities to make skiing access easy. Breakfast was convenient and the dining area also doubled as a nice place to have a drink or read while waiting for your room to be ready or waiting to depart.
everything starting with the best welcoming and soooo lovely staff and it is very clean and great decoration and its bery high speed internet and honestly every thing amazing and also the place and everything in this hotel like seven star hotel
The Chedi is a wonderful experience from the moment you arrive. The hotel interior design is beautiful, the room was stunning and very comfortable, the staff were so helpful. The spa was a delight and the Japanese restaurant exceptional.
Fabulous apartment with lovely facilities with a balcony looking out towards the surrounding mountains. Excellent downstairs storeroom which we used for our bikes. Easy stroll into the centre of andermatt to eat etc.
Great location in Andermatt and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in town.
The furnishings are pretty old style with some cool modern touches.
