We took day trips from Providence Bay to the other parts of Manitoulin Island but didn't visit the Providence Bay beach.
Our favourite places are Bridal Veil Falls and The Cup and Saucer Hiking Trail.

It was our first visit, to see the rest of the island you need transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we plan to return. But due to Covid there was no restaurants open for dine in. Or closed for the season. We visited beginning of October.

We liked the location, the beach, the walking decks along the beach, cleanliness and friendly people. We eat great food at the Huron Sands Motel, enjoyed our stay there. We visited most of the island and enjoyed the provincial parks and trails. We loved Misery Bay trails, we felt a lot of tranquility along those trails.

Everything in walking distance.
Everything in walking distance. Beautiful beach with boardwalk, nature museum, ice cream, and large playground. Always an event every weekend on the island. Lake Huron Fish and Chips serve the best white fish.

Lovely beach and boardwalk. Very quiet and rustic town.
Lovely beach and boardwalk. Very quiet and rustic town. School house restaurant Was our best dining experience. Only 2 restaurants in area. One fine dining and other fish and chip place. One coffee shop. Sparse
The whole hotel was very unique, quaint, and cozy. Our room was large with a well-stocked kitchenette, a sparkling clean bathroom, and a beautiful mural on the windows. The bed was older and creaked a bit, but comfortable. An attached restaurant was very convenient for tasty meals, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a relaxing and memorable stay.
Great communication through our booking and staying process. Cottage had quite a few amenities that we did not access but were available. It was also very close to the venue we required and were very happy the cottage was available. Lots of bedrooms....too bad we didn't have more people to stay. Beats a hotel room hands down.
Food was very good, but due to COVID room service. Location was great: 2 blocks to Providence Bay. It was a Sunday, so the restaurants all closed down very early. Thank goodness, for room service. It was a short drive (about 30 minutes through country roads) to the Ferry which was nice, as well.
Amazing, quiet, ambiance place at the walking distance from Lake Huron. Home-made healthy meals, a lot of vegetarian options, clean and spacious room, overall feeling that you are home. It's very rare in hotels. Highly recommended to stay for those who are looking to be home away from home!
