Close to trails. We walked a new one every day. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for us as grandparents with teen-aged grandsons. Also, thinking about booking this spot again with a friend because of this. Beds were great. Beautiful soaker tub. We enjoyed the balcony looking over the ocean. Clean and welcoming.

The town is beautiful and the surrounding beaches and parks...

The town is beautiful and the surrounding beaches and parks are outstanding! If you're planning an off-season visit, be aware that places don't open on regular hours or days. If you plan on eating in (at your stay) bring food from Victoria/Duncan etc. The Market has limited supplies and the staff was not too friendly. The evening staff at Coastal Kitchen Cafe seemed upset that we came in 50 mins to closing, and treated us like they had better things to do. Food was overpriced and not a good value.

Great place for relaxing and getting in contact with nature.

Great place for relaxing and getting in contact with nature. Be aware that the small town has only one little grocery store with limited open hours, also few options of restaurants, but an awesome place to relax.

Small town for a first time visit and mostly just one night stay. I'd come back in the summer time to do more outdoor activities. It's easy to get around Port Renfrew and everyone is friendly.

The best place to spend time with family and friends sitting around fireplace in nights or enjoying beautiful view from balcony. Contemporary furniture setup with and comfort combined with closeness to nature. We just love this place.

We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan.

We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan. Make sure you stop at the Tourist Information building and talk to a helpful staff person. We were given a map of the Marine Circle Route that was extremely helpful. The town is quaint and has breathtaking views. We had the delicious seafood chowder twice at the Renfrew Pub (excellent free wifi). There is little to no cell service, but wifi is surprisingly good.

Stayed in renfrew for one night, this is out second time coming to stay as we love it here. Botanical beach is amazing, so cool to walk around. Theres loads of hikes to do, there is also boat trips if you are interested. It is a very small place so you may not be able to get everything you need here so bring supplies. There is a general store a gift shop and a pub. The pub is pricey but the portions are incredible. You also need a car to come here as everything is fairly far.

Port Renfrew is wild, it is great, and it is small. The cottage is located at the center of Port Renfrew, even though it may not mean much due to the town's size. But it is very close to the restaurants. The cottage is within a large compound so it feels safe, parking is easy, right in front of the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped, which makes it very easy to cook. It matters when only 2 restaurants are open, and only until 7pm. Host is good with communication.

I felt right at home at this cottage - everything I needed, and more, was provided to make it a wonderfully comfortable stay. The view is incredible, and we were lucky enough to see an orca surface briefly from the deck on the first morning. Bruce, the owner, went above and beyond to help me arrange to get my bag back after I left it there (silly me) - thank you Bruce! I cannot wait to visit Port Renfrew again, and I won’t hesitate to book this property again - it was truly an amazing time!

Absolutely amazing. I do not have any complain about this place. This is possibly one of the best (if not the best) place to stay in Port Renfrew. I have stayed in other places but this is definitely the best price/quality wise. It felt so relaxing being in the patio with the garden heater on and using the grill. The bed and the sofa/bed were very good, and the cabin was fully equiped. Honestly I am looking forward to stay here again in my next trip to Port Renfrew

Spectacular apartment overlooking Port Renfrew Bay. It was quiet and private and close to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove. Cooking facilities were excellent, and the cupboards were stocked with good spices. PR has limited grocery stores so buy your groceries ahead of time. It is off the grid, which is the charm, but has decent Wifi. The decor is predominantly wood, with many beautiful exotic woods. It was a pleasure to be in these surroundings.

Amazing location, absolutely stunning chalet with everything you could need. Felt like home! We enjoyed the gas fire on the patio in the rain, and the next day a morning wood fire with our coffee. Just perfect. Went down to botanical beach and it was cold and rainy. Returned back to the chalet and enjoyed the fabulous soaker tub to warm up. thank you so much!

Tilby's Rainbow cottage in Port Renfrew was incredible. So clean and comfortable, and a well stocked, functional kitchen. The water view is amazing and we used the bbq each night. Great spot for hiking in the Port Renfrew area. Short drive to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove and Lonely Doug.

We had a lovely couple of nights in Port Renfrew on a road journey from Victoria. The Cottage was very clean, it had a spectacular view and had all the facilities that we required. The Host was also very easy to communicate with which makes things easy when you are an international visitor.

The hiker huts were perfect for a rest day before we started the West Coast Trail. We loved the Coastal kitchen and the Port Renfrew Pub! The views were amazing! We were able to store our backpacks until we could check in and that allowed us to explore Port Renfrew by foot.

The directions to the location were perfect and we found the cabin easily. The cabin is sheltered and private, part of a group of condo's, with a big deck and outdoor fire-pit, all at one level. Free parking right next to the entrance.
