The entire building was extremely clean and smelled very clean and fresh. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we asked for assistance. The included breakfast buffet was small but had everything one could want/need for a wholesome, filling breakfast. The room (Queen Suite with Jacuzzi Tub) was very large and easily accomodated myself, my friend and my puppy. The toilet, sinks, shower and jacuzzi were all very clean. The carpets were very clean and there was no musty or damp smell. The kitchenette was well stocked with more than we needed for the week but would be very convenient to have for long-term stays. The laundry facilities, though small (4 washers and 4 dryers) included very high-end machines that had my clothes smelling more fresh than ever! There was also adequate space to fold the laundry and the room even had it's own laundry basket! Talk about convenience!
Staying at the Staybridge Suites Guelph was overall a great experience! It was comfortable, clean, convenient and very pet friendly! My puppy had a blast exploring all the new smells too! If I ever find myself in Guelph with the need to stay in a hotel, I will 100% be staying at the Staybridge Suites!
I will also be staying at a Staybridge Suites anytime I need to travel in the future!

Breakfast was ok.
But there was nothing to walk around for
relaxation or encouragement or refreshing
our spirit.
Environment was industrial area I feel.
I couldn’t walk around for enjoyment.
You suppose to provide garden or provide
walking root for exercise.
There were so much empty lot around
building.
Why don’t you put efforts in develop
walking area to enjoy looking garden?
We were from Queen Elizabeth park Vancouver
neighbour hood.
We choose hotels who have walking area
for refreshing always.
I was so disappointed this time.
We couldn’t spend time for fresh air
nighttime because of poor environment.
Temperature was exceptionally good but
environment was totally unexpected!

Nice clean basement apartment. Attentive host. Comfortable bed. Good shower.
Guelph is super-duper rad! Great food, great shopping, great people. Hiking is also a plus - the Guelph Lake Conservation Area was beautiful. Everywhere we went was fully staffed with helpful enthusiastic people.

Guelph is a mid-sized city, with every amenity you could need. Local College, and a Tim Horton's everywhere. Truthfully, I stay there as it is the closest place to find a room when the Fergus Highland Games happen in early August. Usually don't have a chance to do much but what I have seen of the city definitely makes me want to spend more time exploring in the future. Lots of nature trails, hiking and biking seem to exist there.

Like the fact that they do have a lot of openness but buses don't have presto and that the buses cost $3.00 and you only get a transfer for 1 hour where as in other cities you can get a transfer that lasts anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours

No hot breakfast included despite restaurants in ontario being at full capacity for covid. Why are you still handing out a bagged breakfast containing a dried up rubber egg sandwich and 1 protein bar with no drink. Shameful

Guelph is a University city.
Guelph is a University city. A large percentage of young people in the streets make it very vivid. You can tell it is a place to live here rather than to commute to Toronto. We enjoyed the University Arboretum. In the two evenings we stayed in Guelph, we visited two different Greek restaurants and were happy with the meals and service. Elora Gorge conservation area is about a 20-minute drive away. We did not visit it this time, but maybe next time.

Myself and a friend rode our bicycles from Goderich to Guelph along the G2G Rail Trail. We stayed one night, the rode the rail trail back to Goderich the next day. Guelph seemed like a bicycle friendly city with a multi-use off road paved trail along both sides of the road where our hotel was. Access to the G2G Rail Trail was easy.
I recently stayed in a private room in Guelph and was absolutely amazed with the level of services provided. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a TV and a mini fridge. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Guelph.
The location was perfect because I was visiting my niece who lived close by on the same street. It was very convenient as we didn't have our own transport, relying on my niece to take us out. The hosts were great, very friendly and helpful, showing us how to use the TV and setting up the WIFI for us. We would recommend this room to anyone visiting Guelph.
We needed a place to accommodate 3 generations when visiting our son for his birthday. The location and size of the place was just what we needed for our stay and to have a nice birthday dinner. The host made it very easy for our arrival and gave her contact info in case we had any issues at any time (which we didn't).
Location for where we wanted to go was excellent. We had to go out to eat when being right at the hotel would have been preferable and a whirlpool or swimming pool would have been nice but under the circumstances we understand. A very nice place and would definitely stay there again.
We slept well because the hotel was very quiet. it had a pool that was never crowded. Big cinema and Tim Hortons within a block. Close to downtown restaurants/pubs, Paisley Street Shoppes and Quebec Street Mall.
I was in Guelph for a dance competition at the Delta. Myself and 2 other moms and our girls stayed here. We had the perfect amount of space for all of us and the location was excellent.
The hotel was easy to find, the breakfast was amazing, check in/out was fast and easy. The room size was ok for what we needed for 1 night. The shower water pressure was awesome.
liked the sliding door to outside - clean, comfy bed. good size fridge that actually gets cold. front desk person was amazing - very efficient, positive and kind.
