I honestly can not say enough about the hosts, Alba and Joaquin, they were both absolutely delightful. They paid close attention to my needs and they were helpful in so many ways. They are very committed to their posada and it shows.
The property is new, wonderfully designed and spacious. The grounds are lush, well maintained and even though I did not swim in the pool, it was nice to look at, especially in the evening.
The bungalow itself is charming and comfortable. It is constructed completely from hardwood and equipped with all the modern amenities you would hope for. Each bungalow is spaced nicely away from the others so you have a nice sense of privacy.
I’m a kiteboarder so location for me was very good, on the western side of the lagoon where it is wide and deep. I believe the walk from the posada to the lagoon was only 4-5 minutes and walking to Hura Beach Club was about 12-15 minutes by way of the beach.
My time at Wind Rose was both relaxing and enjoyable, I will stay again when visiting the area.

I didn’t try the breakfast (had to leave at 4 am) but they very nicely prepared a little takeaway breakfast for me, which I thought was also lovely! It’s a veggie place, so if you are one, it should be great.

This spot is a hidden gem and fantastic value for money! Couldn't recommend higher. Absolutely amazing location right in front of the water at the start of ilha do farol where you can kite even during low tide. You can launch right from the hotel. The owners were really friendly and very helpful. The place itself is a unique design and fun, with lots of spots to hang out. It is 5 minutes from town so quiet in the evenings, but very close to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We booked it for short stay of 2 nights, but we were traveling for our honeymoon and of course for kiting. They have surprised us with some really nice decorations for our honeymoon. No doubt the attention from the staff to prepare the kites and also to finish off the session was amazing. They are keen to help with everything you feel safe and very well looked after. The restaurant and reception staff are really nice too. Loved this place.

We've had a fantastic stay here. Senhor Ari (the owner) goes above and beyond to make sure your stay at this pousada is memorable. In fact, he is the friendliest and nicest Brazilian I have ever met.
The rooms have everything you need, including AC and a fridge. The place is just perfect for kitesurfing (let's face it, otherwise you wouldn't be here). You could dry your wet gear on the balcony and the lagoon is just a few steps away. The property has an air compressor to inflate your kites and a shower to rinse your gear. The pousada is about a 2 min walk from the main road with the nice restaurants. Yet, these 100 meters are enough to keep your room quiet at night. The breakfast is very good: both a buffet and made-to-order.
The whole vibe is fantastic and I promised Ari and myself I would go back one day!
After our stay in Ilha de Guajiru we went to Jeri. If I were to pick only one destination I would definitely pick the laid-back atmosphere in Ilha de Guajiru over the crazy crowds in Jeri.
