Very clean, well kept. Host met on site and was very friendly and accommodating.

The WW2 museums are fantastic, and are highly recommended.
The WW2 museums are fantastic, and are highly recommended. The 101st Airborne Museum, which is a 2 minute walk from the main square (General Mc Auliffe square), is extremely interesting. The life-size mannequins are just too real though!. The 101st Barracks is about a 45 minute walk from the centre, and well worth a visit. As is the Mardasson Memorial and Museum, the Bois Jacques Woods, and whilst you're in that area, a visit to the German war cemetery at Recogne should be taken in too. Bastogne is a good base to visit other WW2 museums, such as the one at La Gleize. If time permits the visitor, I would also strongly advise a visit to the small town of Wereth where there is a memorial to the 11 soldiers of the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion, an all-African-American unit, who were massacred during the Battle of the Bulge. Do your research prior to a visit to Bastogne, and plan your activities, you won't be disappointed.

Obviously there's a lot of historic value to Bastogne but this mainly can be found just out of the town itself. 'Downtown' is not really interesting and the WW2 legacy is being commercialised in an almost offensive way - but okay.
The War Museum is quite interesting and the audio guide is very well done. Although the entrance fee of 22 Euros per person is really steep!!

A busy town with some excellent restaurants and bars to frequent once you have visited the many War Memorial sites. I would particularly recommend the 101st Airborne Museum.
Supermarkets close at 1930hrs. So don't get caught out like we did. However, there is a 24hr garage nearby called shop and go where we were able to get some supplies after the shops had closed.

A fabulous little town full of history.
A fabulous little town full of history. We met so.many lovely friendly people including an American war veteren in bar nuts. What an honour and a privilege. Also had a few good meals, burgers in nuts were huge and very tasty. Food in Leo's station wagon was exceptional as was the service. We visited ww2 sites..so humbling. The airborne museum was brilliant. Informative and very well set out. The interactive displays are a must. Jaques woods overlooking Foy with the foxholes...wow. Such a humbling place. Walk around perimeter of fence to see the originals overlooking a field facing Foy.

If you're interested in the WWII history of the area, it is a must see. The museums are fantastic (Bastogne War Museum and 101st Airborne Museum). You can enjoy wonderful food, decadent chocolates, and wonderfully warm people during your visit. Several languages are spoken for and travelers that are apprehensive about a language barrier. Absolutely loved this trip!
Location was good, a 10 minute walk to the city center where I met most of my friends who were staying in hotels near the main square. Apartment was quite, despite being on a busy street. Apartment met minimum requirements, especially since I spent very little time there other than sleeping. I was able to park my motorcycle in the alley in front of the door to the apartment, which provided peace-of-mind as to its security. There were several quick-food restaurants and bars in very close proximity to the apartment.
it was picture perfect. it was big and roomy and enough space for our entire family. the grounds outside were so beautiful. the house was clean and had everything we needed and more. The owners were super kind and attentive and came out to great us and even say goodbye. After staying in Paris and London I could not take one more night in a big loud city or small cramped hotel. this was exactly what we needed. i highly recommend this home if you want a beautiful relaxing place to rest your head
The location, the rooms, the staff, the restaurant and brasserie….everything. One of the best hotels ive ever stayed in to be honest. Maybe im a bit biased as someone interested in Railways plus the excitement of visiting Bastogne with my son but the hotel couldnt have been any better. Just the look of it on the street as you approach it gives you a sense of how good it is. We dined in both the Brasserie and the Restaurant during our stay and both are highly recommended. Superb.
This is a beautiful house in a remote village a few km away from Bastogne. Cows in the fields below the garden. Good facilities for a family to use and plenty of walks around about. For us was handy as we were visiting sites around Bastogne (this house is in the middle of Battle of the Bulge country). Very peaceful place but has all modern conveniences - dishwasher / microwave / BBQ / WiFi / TV. Highly recommended.
A great little motel. it looks a bit quirky when you arrive but has everything you need and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was perfect, beds comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Location is a short walk into the centre of Bastogne. Parking on the forecourt is covered by CCTV. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
This hotel had everything, but, most importantly, very professional and friendly staff. Any issue/question we had was promptly answered and the personnel all were very attentive. The restaurant is a must to try and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever tried in Europe. The rooms were very comfortable and chic. Great location across from the square and easy to get to the major museums.
This is a nice little 2-story apartment about 10 minutes out of Bastogne center by car. Bed and bathroom are upstairs, so it's not for disabled people or anyone having troubles climbing stairs. There's a fully equipped kitchen and sofa/tv on the ground floor. You can park your car just in front of the apartment. Nice place for a 1-3 night stay.
The apartment was very clean and the location was fantastic. Contact-free check-in was very easy. In spite of being right on a busy street, it was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave. Everything was perfect. We visit Bastogne regularly and will gladly stay here again in the future.
Generally we need to say that property is after reconstruction. So there is nothing to point out regarding the building and property. Rooms were comfortable, parking lot in front of main door. Location next to main road with easy access to Bastogne city. Equipment available as normal in normal house - kitchen, living room etc.
Not even half a block from McAuliffe square. It has a little history as the former home of Renee Lamarie, the angel of Bastogne. She's the nurse portraid in the Bastogne episode of band of brothers who died in the Germans bombing of the aid station on Christmas Eve 1944, in battle of the bulge
Excellent location to town centre. The hotel was lovely, the reception, restaurant and bar area bright and friendly. Excellent parking to rear. At night the bar area was lively without being noisy. The breakfasts were excellent with a varied choice of both cooked and continental.
Very nice apartment, spotlessly clean with all good amenities. We stayed here in order to see Bastogne and visit the war museums. We were here for 2 nights and it was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend
wonderful patio in a location that makes strolling around Bastogne a joy. everything about the property feels new and cared for. would love to be able to stay longer as a base for touring the region.
Very nice and friendly host, really welcoming. Really nice breakfast. Very clean and practical location - we came to Bastogne to visit the War Museum and it was the perfect location for that.
