The room was delightfully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom stocked with very nice products and the kitchen suitably stocked for a B&B. The breakfast was amazing, better than any cafe I've eaten at! Our hosts were lovely, going out of their way to make our short trip run smoothly. The pool looked very inviting it was a shame our stay was too short to enjoy it. I've stayed in many B&Bs around the world and this one is up with the best of them. Highly recommend.

Warners Bay is located on beautiful Lake Macquarie and has all the amenities a traveller could need. Easy walking trails along the lakeside and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to other areas of Newcastle and is a very pleasant place to stay.

Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel from previous guest in the room hair and urine on bathroom floor hand prints on wall and shower glass Bed pushed up against wall allowing access to one side only. Over all the room was dirty . the Noise was bad with other guest and children making noise well after 11pm at night should have families with children away from other guest with out noise children very poor management not helpfully at all owner was advised of issues but no response or no follow up from management or staff.

An easy drive from Sydney, Warners Bay offers lots. The Lake area offers fishing and watercraft activities, the Esplanade is great for a picnic, bbq, bike/run etc...possibilities are endless. There are a lot if nice restaurants and shops to duck into as well. Over all, very family and dog friendly place.

If you're passing through on a road trip try to stay...
If you're passing through on a road trip try to stay somewhere on Lake Macquarie as it's really lovely. Warners Bay is a nice little hub with lots of cafes and food options Could also use it as a base to discover the whole region - lots to see within 1-2 hour drive.....Newcastle city and beaches, wineries and Port Stephens

It was lovely and quiet, staff were extremely welcoming and informative. Ease of check in and check out was a big win as I was driving from Melbourne to Brisbane and leaving at an ungodly hour. Parking was secure and close to the hotel, coffee and tea was great and the fridge was a very generous size. TV had free foxtel, so after a long day of driving being able to lay down and watch something decent was a nice treat! Absolutely brilliant, I would stay again!

Charlestown Square, which is a much larger shopping centre, is very close as are Newcastle's beautiful beaches.
