my group triple-shared the room and it was adequately large enough to accommodate an extra bed and for all of us to move around in. the pub at the motel was one of very few places to eat in Fish Creek but we had to plan to have dinner there early since the kitchen closes very early.

Waratah bay itself seems to be more of a residential town...

Waratah bay itself seems to be more of a residential town but is very close to other towns that have “kiosks” or general stores. Easy to get to, and the area was easy to get around. Having never been there before I ended up not even needing gps all the time. Very windy roads but they seem well cared for. Things are spread out quite a bit so to really benefit and explore the area, stay longer! I spent 4 days exploring from Inverloch to Yarram. Due to poor weather I couldn’t fully explore Wilson’s prom or other areas. Definitely go in nicer weather and stay for a decent time.
