Toowoomba is great. Smaller than the likes of Brisbane city, but bigger than the average country town. I'm a fan, we'll be back.
Toowoomba is very easy to navigate, being mostly laid out in a grid pattern. Easy to walk around the heart of the city for shopping and food.

It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year.
Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years.
If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.

Toowoomba is a great town.
Toowoomba is a great town.
I love the way that it has retained much of it's heritage and feel of being a big country town rather than a city.
Locals are friendly and helpful, streets are wide and parking is easy.
I will be back...

Toowoomba is a beautiful city, especially if you are partial to trees and gardens. In addition to this there is more than enough shopping and some amazing views. Plus the cafe scene is well stocked and bars are all over the place! Certainly worth the trip.

They still have many of the old architectural building which is a credit to the town. Being central you could walk just about everywhere.

Our last overnight stop before home so did not spend much time there.
Would be an ideal place to stay for the yearly flower festival. Visited the Cobb & Co museum which was very interesting. Nice, very popular cafe inside. Made our own supper with food purchased from the Coles supermarket which was right near the Jacaranda Place Motor Inn. A fast food outlet was situated on the other side of the road, so no need to go hungry.
Loved how clean it was, how big it was for my crazy children, how quiet it was we probably would have another everyone else (if our children where noisy all of the adults give our apologies)
We also loved how close to town it is I walk alot and every needed was just around the corner.
I use to move motel to hotel anywhere I could at the time to keep a roof over my children's head and out of everywhere I have stayed yours is by far my favourite, thank you so Verry much for the lovely holiday home
I often stay here for work when I'm in town, and usually book either Blue Heeler (single) or Billabong rooms (single or double donga). The modern dongas are perfect for single/couple travellers or workers. Reverse cycle aircon heating is great in winter! Staff are always so friendly & welcoming. Walking distance to the Federal Hotel & Queens Park, easy access to main roads & CBD. GREAT value for money, highly recommend!
This was not a 5 Star hotel, nor did we expect it to be. However for the price and our needs it was very suitable. Clean, friendly room had what we needed. Other members of our family also stayed. We noticed that it was near full each night so that is telling you something. Having the basic breakfasts was good for us. Saved us time and money. Thank you.
The property was spotlessly clean and all beds very comfy. It was very central to Toowoomba cbd. The check in and out process worked really well. The hosts left extra treats for us to enjoy which was a lovely welcome gift. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions via email. We look forward to staying here again one day.
For an older Motel, The Glenworth is exceptionally clean. Possibly the most cleaned and well-maintained we have stayed at in Toowoomba. Also as it was a special request, we had a remarkably quiet room, that assisted us in regard to our reason for attending Toowoomba. Another big plus was the lovely gardens, quite beautiful.
amazing accommodation...king size comfortable bed with comfortable pillows...ensuite bathroom was spot on clean...very quiet rooms, couldnt hear any other guests...breakfast was delish & reasonably priced & you could order takeaway coffee, yummy Belgium Chocolates in fridge on arrival, close to CBD.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The ladies at check in desk helpful. The room was great and TV connects to my phone easily so we could watch Netflix etc The bar and restaurant underneath for dinner is great and location is perfect if you want a stroll around Toowoomba.
Fantastic hotel, located in a picturesque and central spot in Toowoomba. Directly opposite Toowoomba Grammar, so perfect for GPS sports trips. Check in available up until 9pm, which is handy coming from Brisbane. Extremely clean & comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff.
Clean,
Cooperative hosts via Booking.com, aswering pre-stay questions agreeably.
Good to have 2 bed unit. Not easy in the centre of Toowoomba. We were only a fewmins away, near pretty Picnic Point .
All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Leichhardt Motor Inn. Like all motels there is always some niggly little things that could have been better, but overall we did enjoy our stay.
I can't fault the Oaks in Toowoomba. They are impeccably clean rooms with fantastic service. Nikki, the manager, is the best customer service I have experienced in a hotel
Check in was simple and contactless. The room was spacious and modern. The balcony spaces are large and welcoming. It is the best hotel I have stayed at in Toowoomba.
Comfortable room, very quiet despite being a weekend with a lot of bar custom in the bar. Food option in the hotel restaurant plus shopping centre next door
