Loved the location close to everything. The caretaker was so friendly and welcoming, she popped in to see we were happy and had a chat. Is a really nice motel, clean, great facilities and lovely staff.

Various accommodation options, couple of Pubs, supermarkets and range of specialty shops in the town centre. A quaint country town with salt of the earth people. Have a chat café was expensive to eat at (2 toasted sandwiches and 2 coffees came to $30. Otherwise a great little town.

As a stopover on the BVRT, Toogoolawah offered interesting places to visit. Peddlars Rest was excellent accomodation. The Condensery (Australia's claim to fame for condensed milk production) is now a beautiful art gallery. Two Galahs Gallery was full of unique giftware. The Red Cross Op Shop was well set out and stocked with bargains. The only down side was the Exchange Hotel in the main street where we waited 40 minutes for an order of 2 bowls of vegetables that never appeared and the staff didn't seem interested in rectifying the problem. We eventually asked for a refund and went home hungry. Thankfully the positives in Toogoolawah outweigh the negatives.

Loved the town of Toogoolawah!
Loved the town of Toogoolawah! Every store is filled with friendly staff who are more than willing to accommodate any request. It’s a sleepy little country town & I can’t wait to visit again. Would 100% travel there just to eat at Picnic Society again ❤️
