Liane was an amazing guest, five star for her hospitality and cleanliness of the property. She is a very considerate host, even all the cutlery and crockery were super clean. I didn't have to wash them before I used them, which I usually have to do. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kids loved feeding animals and the archery tour. Loved Liane's partner's 'sheep jokes'. The host make you feel very welcomed. We had a lovely stay, would definitely come back.

Love the hotel but the older lady at reception is rude and very unwelcoming.....she said she had no rooms but I could clearly see on line that there was room 7 rooms in all 5 full queen rooms...I find it disappointing that the staff lady did not want guests is just staying as she also turned others away not good..and for her to have a go at me after I went online and booked a rooom I find it very unprofessional..cheer linda..LindaAustralia - 10Scored 10

The motel was very good and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food. I hadn't heard the term gummy shark since my childhood and it lived up to my expectations, sweet boneless white flesh. Just across the road for the beach and coffee shop! I would not recommend this place to stay.
I would not recommend this place to stay. The staff was completely incompetent. I booked a room, with sea views and in the main building, I arrive there and no one was at the reception, and they gave me a room in the family wing, no privacy at all, no one to complain with and when I checked out, I asked why I was put in the family wing after paying a very expensive room, the answer was: " it was a system mistake, we can't know which room you chose from booking. Lies. They can tell, and what they actually did was change the room number by hand, I could see the room number crossed on the receipt and a different one Handwritten on top. Having said this, they don't only lie, they thought I was stupid enough not to recognize this. When I asked for a refund for the difference I paid for a room I didn't get, they said we can't help you and said goodbye. Absolutely, avoid this place.

Our time there was enjoyable and relaxing. The reclining couch was especially good! We enjoyed being able to see the sea from our cabin and were even lucky enough to be able to watch the Targa Tasmania cars from the cabin as they passed through Scamander as a bonus. Scamander is a good central place for exploring the beautiful east coast of Tasmania.

I felt comfortable just being in the unit below their house, no expectations to 'interact' totally up to me. That was appreciated.

Our one bedroom, luxury cabin was clean, tidy and well fitted out. There was plenty of room in the kitchen/lounge area. Although the Tourist Park is situated on the main road and our ca bin was the closest to the road, we had no traffic noise.
