Location was perfect for us across from hospital walking distance to town and foreshore. We only booked a one night stay. We got the executive room which had been modernised and clean. Reception was friendly and accommodating. This is older budget motel which looks a bit tired so go in with that in mind and you will be happy with value for money.
Located in Portland, Seascape Accommodation offers a idyllic waterfront rooms with a balcony and sea views. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking.

The building was delightful. Lounge and dining room were well appointed. Bedroom was warm and the 4 poster bed a real treat. Spa worked well too
My comfortable overnight stay to break the inland journey...
My comfortable overnight stay to break the inland journey from Adelaide to Melbourne was an excellent choice. It was not long enough to see much more than the gorgeous Bay, averting eyes away from the port constructions at one side. I enjoyed an excellent seafood meal at the nearby beachfront restaurant.

Seascape was a beautiful place to stay.
Seascape was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, modern and an easy walk to the shoreline and town.
We walked to town and picked up some roasted chicken & the fixings and ate back at the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen!
Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night, so can't recommend things to do in Portland, although it is a quaint little town.

Portland has so much to offer both in close vicinity and just a short drive away. From the interesting activities at the Port to the many walks around town, safe swimming at Nuns Beach and some very cute shops and cafes.
A short drive to Bridgewater and you will find the most gorgeous beach that gives QLD beaches some strong competition. A few more min up from Bridgewater and there are spectacular view of Blowholes and the ocean at its fiercest.
The historic lighthouse at Cape Nelson is a short drive from the other end of Portland.

Pretty country Victoria town on the sea.
Pretty country Victoria town on the sea. The beach is right in town, else you can drive 15mins to Bridgewater where there's a Cafe right beside the beach with extensive menu & lots indoor or outdoor seating. The Royal hotel in Portland city also offers an extensive menu, very reasonably priced with friendly service and multiple eating / drinking areas, plenty parking or 1 block walk from William Dutton hotel. Portland has Aldi, IGA & Woolworths supermarkets

We visited the park near the port, had a short walk along the beach. The area is clean and safe. We enjoyed the view. We also visited the botanical garden. It is great. Small garden, but lots of beautiful flowers. the city has got several very good places for lunch or dinner. We visited one and had a great lunch. I liked the view form the cliff to the port. It is unique, but it is hard to find the stairs to the beach from the cliff as it is hidden. February is a good time to visit: not too hot, and not cold, perfect.
Roger Alexander, the proprietor greeted us with his rescue Greyhound Luke, as we were unpacking our car after a long drive to Portland. The B&B was delightful in many ways. Room was spacious, other common areas like the living room and breakfast room were comfortable, and in the case of the living room, stocked with complimentary wine and local beers.
Bathroom with shower and tub were was large and well provisioned with shampoos , etc.
Breakfast in the morning was comped and Roger was kind enough to cook really good eggs.
Everything! It was such a welcomed surprise after travelling for 6 weeks and ending up in some very mediocre accommodations. The owner was very helpful, accommodation was charming and immaculate and the location was fabulous. We would recommend without hesitation and should we return to the area we would absolutely stay at the Annesley House again.
great quiet location, beautiful home and back garden area. lots of cozy places to relax other than our room. mandy and john were perfect hosts, ready to make sure we got the most out of our time in the Portland area. could easily walk to many areas of interest nearby, as well as dining and shopping. The home was very clean.
We stayed in the headmasters cottage. Accomodations were so classy, gorgeous oldschool feel. Fireplace sitting room was glorious. Location under the lighthouse and on the edge of the earth was enchanting. Bed was very comfy. Excellent choice for two families or large single family.
House was very comfortable with everything you needed for your accommodation, was good that had two toilets as well. Robert the host was very friendly and helpful gave us some good advice on where to go and what to do there . We will definitely be going back there in the future.
This hotel was ideally suited for a quiet overnight stopover and presented excellent value for money. We will recommend it to friends and book there again if we decide to stay in Portland overnight. Thankyou.
The motel room was clean with all of the facilities required for a short visit. The price of the accommodation was cheap while the motel room was of good quality. The town of Portland is also worth visiting.
Easy to find reception at the hotel in Portland. Breakfast provisions were just right for a two night stay. Private and quiet location, but still very close to the beach and South West walking trail
The location was better than expected. Close to the beach and all amenities that Portland had to offer. Cable car/tram travelled right past the front gate.
