This motel is a short walk to the Chadstone Shopping Centre which has a wide variety of shopping from K Mart to Luxury shops. The area has a wide variety of food choices and public transport if needed can be accessed close by too.

Do not believe what you see of the photographs of this place...
Do not believe what you see of the photographs of this place. It.looks 100 times nicer than what you actually get. This place is run down and filthy. The photos on the booking site appear, light, bright, comfortable and clean. What you actually get is quite different. Broken toilet seat, stains on curating and in showers. The rooms are dark and small, not light and bright as advertised. There are handwritten signs demanding that if your dog pool you clean up (!?) If you litter, you clean up. There were please of rubbish bags in reception, staff were dressed in track pants. Reception had an old.couch. gardens overgrown and weedy..there was an old car missing its wheels parked in the car park. MASSIVELY misleading website and overwhelmingly disappointing for customer. We stayed elsewhere.. This needs investigating... surely we can't sell this service honestly with the website photos so misleading.

Oakleigh has good proximity to Chadstone Shopping Centre, Vicinity Shopping Centre in Oakleigh and the fantastic Oakleigh Greek cultural precinct. The railway station is only a 20 minute ride from the city.

I only slept at Motel and travelled by taxi.
I only slept at Motel and travelled by taxi. All meals and the rest of my time was spent in Carnegie. There the choice of restaurants with fantastic service will blow your mind. Wherever you stay make sure you eat in Carnegie. I have no other experiences of Oakleigh.AAnonymous - 2.0Scored 2.0
I didn't like Oakleigh at all...
I didn't like Oakleigh at all...It was so dirty and I will never stay there again. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The mirror in the bedroom was so dirty you could even see yourself. I thought it was a reasonable prices motel but after staying there it was so over priced. Not happy about my stay at all.

The doors were not closed at night, the back door was wedged open and there were a lot of very dodgy people walking the hallways. For $130 it was cheap (and all that was available lol) but i wouldn't travel here as a single female or with children.
