Meeniyan was a surprise town.
Meeniyan was a surprise town. I had actually never heard of it and only stayed one night due to attending a family function. I wished I had booked and stayed for longer! Such quaint shops, beautiful food shops & great coffee. The locals were so welcoming and the town had such a great vibe. Was disappointed we didn’t have time to check out the awesome looking pub or the town square. A very walkable town and only half hour drive from the beach. Definitely be back!

Meeniyan is a gorgeous town, it's central to lots of places of interest in South Gippsland and about an hours drive to Wilsons Prom. Everything you need is in the small shopping strip on the main street. Meeniyan is a Victorian classic, a small rural town on the highway. This year at least it was green and verdant in the middle of summer. It has good coffee shops and bakeries, and an art gallery which I mean to return to, since its window display looks great but it wasn't open at a time when I was available. Great gift shops with very different items, many local artisans are represented, I was able to find some unique Xmas gifts at very reasonable prices. Meeniyan is a lovely town that has access to the Great southern rail trail. In which you can walk, run or cycle. There are also many different places to eat. Like the yummy bakery and pizza shops that have outdoor dinning . It's also a short drive to Venus bay which has a great surf beach to walk alongdonnaAustralia

Private parking, clean room with spacious bathroom and all facilities.The motel offered free whole day bicycles riding to the great southern trail which was fun. Right on the main road with IGA and shops nearby. Great value against price if you want to explore Wilson's prom but avoid booked-out and expensive accomodations there.
