We loved the goats! And the beautiful friendly Labrador that visited us! Sarah was an amazing host answering all our silly questions promptly and catering to our needs. The tiny home is beautiful and spotlessly clean with great views. We have fallen in love with this place and soaked up the tranquility. We’ll be back x

Friendly town as soon as you step a foot on the country.

Friendly town as soon as you step a foot on the country. From the bus driver to the people on the street and the shops keeper. People are friendly and the great retail therapy location was not expected.

A lovely place to visit with lots of stores to browse through. The Kilmore Gaol was a beautiful place to visit and the cafe was warm and welcoming in a beautiful setting, the eggs Benedict was excellent. The parks in the area were great and services in the town were excellent, plenty of choices to buy whatever you needed for a short stay like we had.

Looked after so well by Jenny.

Looked after so well by Jenny. They now have a huge tv for those cosy nights and games to play. This really is a special spot, so close to the ranges or Melbourne. Slept in the huge front bedroom, as quoted before traffic noise may be an issue to some but ear plugs there by your bedside if needed! Spot on classic huge cottage at an awesome price. Thanks Jenny...loved it!

We had a bike race in Broadford but spent time at the hotel for a meal on Friday night which was excellent. We also had a meal at the Chinese restaurant on Saturday evening which was excellent too. Great stay.

the cottage was unique with kitchenette everything you need for cooking, microwave, fridge hot plates cutlery, crockery, saucepans etc In the fridge large milk, large fruit juice, butter, eggs, bacon and tomatoes, large vanilla yoghurt, plus 3 different types of cereals, teas and coffee. A small wood canara in the middle of the cottage which added to the cosiness. Table and chairs looking out onto the gardens of the property. comfy bed, all essentials in bathrooom, TV, the only issue we had was no separate shower as you had to climb a spa bath to get to it. Unfortunately, I had a leg injury and was on a walking stick so no way could I get into the spa for a shower, plus very slippery. that was the only disappointment

Our trip to Kilmore coincided with the annual Celtic Festival held late June. The weather was poor but the hospitatlity of the locals was welcoming and the music was uplifiting. We spent most of Saturday in the Memorial Hall for the music including the evening concert. Took time out to visit Mac's Hotel for some Irish dancing and more music where we met some of the friendly locals. Dinner was at a corner pizza restaurant and bar and the food was delicious and staff accommodating. Our accommodation was the Kilmore Gaol Bed and Breakfast. A unique experience with cosy rooms and great food for lunch and breakfast. The next day we we took a stroll around the town to see some of the historic buildings. A nice little town which should be visited for the music festival.
