Cabin was really well presented and adequately equipped. The decor and overall quality was basic but everywhere was well maintained, clean and very spacious. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, parking (for one car) was out the front door of the cabin. Location wise, it's just out of Mallacoota town, so 2-3 minute drive down the hill. Great value for money.

The owner was extremely thoughtful in letting us know that our car lights were on, moving our belongings out of the rain.

Accommodation was great. It was a pity that some of the services advertised, such as breakfast and pre cooked meals, were not available due to lack of staff. It would have been appropriate to receive a discount due to the lack of advertised facilities. The manager, Peter, did a wonderful job though and couldn't have been more helpful.

Its a lovely spot to spend a couple of nights, especially if the weather is good but, you need to either take everything you will need with you or be prepared for 30 minutes drive into Mallacoota. We were there just after Christmas school holidays and the whole area was just about shut down. We did have a lovely meal in the property next door at Gipsy point Lodge.

When we first arrived we thought we had struck gold.
When we first arrived we thought we had struck gold. Unfortunately we were at Gipsy Point when the bushfires hit Mallacoota (15klms away). The Manager (Peter) ensured we were safe at all times and we knew the fire plan - as the only road out was blocked by trees. We still managed to swim in the pool, admire the birds and wildlife from our deck and eat well. We look forward to going back again and enjoying the spa, walks and fishing.
