The Imperial Hotel, hotel in Murwillumbah

Featuring a bar, The Imperial Hotel is located in Murwillumbah in the New South Wales region, 23 miles from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and 24 miles from Robina Town Centre.

Breakfast was unavailable there on the premises but there were many cafe's just up the road so it really was not a problem. The room we had was huge in the bathroom area but small and cosy for the sleeping area.

Tweed River Motel, hotel in Murwillumbah

Located on the banks of Murwillumbah's Tweed River, this motel is ideally positioned for swimming, rowing, water skiing and fishing. It offers rooms with free WiFi and free continental breakfast.

This is a very old motel which shows, and needs a new building. I think the staff are trying to do the best they can. For example, the out door area was dusty , uneven concrete and pavers with weeds through it There is no hand basin in the shower rooms and so you have to clean your teeth, wash your hands after toileting and wash your dishes in the same sink, not very hygienic by today's standards. The staff were welcoming and pleasant, so no complaints there.

Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday .

Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday . The cafes in the main street are very good. Choice of at least three good ones, and excellent Thai/ Vietnamese and Indian foods available at restaurants there. The Regional Gallery a few klms out on the edge of town is a must visit. Brilliant exhibitions, including Margaret Ollies' home reconstructed.

We stayed overnight in Murwullimbah after the Races. The Country Race Meeting was really enjoyable. The meals at the Imperial Hotel were very good and well priced. We visited the Tweed Valley Art Gallery which I would recommend to anyone. It opens at 10am but there is a cafe which wonderful views which opens at 8.30am.

Excellent friendly service at check in, convenient location as whilst a few hills it was a lovely 10-15 minute walk into town to the local shops, pubs, town pool and parks. Room was older and the bathroom was a little sad however all was very clean and we particularly liked the bathroom products that were available as well as tea bags and cookies.

This old hotel has just been recently renovated pretty well from the ground up, nothing has been overlooked and the attention to detail whether in your room or downstairs in the Bar/Dining area is second to none. The meals were fantastic and well priced and the staff were very friendly and keen to help in anyway they could. The bar served nice cold beer and had all the things that you would expect including TAB/Keno etc once again Kian and the gangs service in this area was faultless.

Fantastic Value and a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean room that looked as though it has been recently refurbished. We had a superior queen room that had a kitchenette and a sitting area. Meals in the bistro were good value with 15 meals at $15 and excellent quality. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. Good vibe for old and young, highly recommended and will stay next time we travel through HInt: it was cheaper by $30 to book online than directly with the hotel

Comfortable clean room. Outdoor areas are exceptional. Management & cleaners are exceptional. Our key was left in a lock box and mints were left in our room with AC running and a light on as we were arriving late with children. New management are doing beautiful things to the place. This is our first preference for overnight stays in Murwillumbah. And it's the thoughtful staff that make this place worth a stay. Thank You Murwillumbah Motor Inn.

The Croft Bed & Breakfast in Murwillumbah was a much-needed break away from the city. Karen is a suoerb host, highlighted by a beautiful cheese/meat platter, brekky of fresh eggs/bacon etc. Surroundings so peaceful and enjoyed company of their family of three cows. The apartment was beautifully clean, nicely furnished but the bed and linen exquisite. Had not slept so peacefully in a long time. Many thanks Karen. 💚🌸

We stayed in the studio for 3 nights. The property is in a delightful rural location with views to Mount Warning. You can wander round the grounds and look at the animals and gardens. A cook-yourself breakfast is supplied with a wide choice of quality ingredients including fresh eggs, local bacon, and fruit. Just seven minutes from restaurants and shops in Murwillumbah and 30 minutes to the coast at Tweed Heads.

Everything was great - the hotel is very funky and fun. Great that they have so many entrances. Room 11 was clean and great that it had a little kitchen. The best was the bathroom - it was massive, about double the size of the room which was epic. (Secretly wish it had a bath as it was a chilly night). The bathroom didn't have a door though which was interesting. Super comfy bed and pillows.

The croft is set on a rural property with beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. The studio has a pool out front. The breakfast goods set aside for us to cook and the welcome platter were generous. The hosts were friendly. the drive into Murwillumbah through cane fields yields views of Womumbin and surrounds. The rate was very good for Easter and Bluesfest time.

Good location, central to the township. Bistro downstairs offered a good selection of meals and a free beverage for the hotel stay. Nicely renovated bathroom, decent-sized kitchenette which was well stocked but mostly in darkness as the ceiling light is too far away and standing at the kitchenette blocks the light. Staff were friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay here - it was very close to the Rail Trail, which was our primary reason for staying here and coming to the region. The hotel check in and out was easy, and they let us store our bikes inside the room too. I would stay here again.
