Well kept rooms in a 1908 hotel with some renovations. Still retains that old hotel charm complete with creaky floorboards.
There is shared bathrooms including a Spa... which was cool to find. Also, common area kitchen with cereal, toast, tea, coffee and juices provided. Plenty of outside deck space front and back with a lovely guest only outdoor area that gets full sun and is great during winter.
They also have a great bistro downstairs and the bar is well stocked and well tapped. Plenty of options. The place was well presented and real testament to the Publican. Well done.

We loved our weekend at The Carriages. Peaceful location with great facilities, friendly hosts and a beautiful breakfast delivery each morning. We enjoyed using the pool, tennis court and relaxing on the deck. The kangaroos were a bonus!

We have stayed here many times in the king villa. It is spacious and comfortable. The patio is a relaxing place to sit and read. Wi-fi is good. Having the Valley Brewery pub onsite makes it easy for a lunch or dinner. The property feels like it is in the country but a 5 minute drive into Cessnock. The zoo is also close by and worth a visit. Would highly recommend this property.
Located close to Hunter Valley Wine Country, Cumberland Motor Innoffers affordable accommodations and a salt-water swimming pool. The Cessnock Golf Course is also nearby.

The room itself was as expected. Spacious, tidy, clean. The pool was lovely on a hot afternoon. I would definitely recommend for a short stay, it was a good location, easy to park.
This beautifully historic hotel is located just 15 minutes' drive from the Hunter Valley Wine Region. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar followed by a meal at the on-site restaurant.
Visited with my son and our dog. We wanted a self-contained place where we could cook our own meals, relax, go for walks, have an outdoor fire and feel safe and comfortable. Tabitha Hill provided all of this and was super quiet apart from gorgeous birdsong, including bellbirds, of course! We all enjoyed our stay and would go back again :) Bellbird is a sweet little township with all we needed. If groceries are required, Cessnock is a 5 minute drive with all major supermarkets and services. All of the gorgeous Hunter Valley wineries and gourmet restaurants are within 10 to 30 minutes' drive if that is on the agenda. One of my all-time favourite eateries is Bistro Molines, literally 10 minutes' drive up the road.
If you want a lovely, quiet home set on a North facing block, with all you need to rest and refresh, including millions of stars in the sky above at night, Tabitha Hill can deliver.
