This little hideaway was quiet and quaint with wildlife and other animals all around. It has a peaceful outlook and was a great option for my friend and I. Check was easy and the kitchenette meant we could make our own breakfast and heat up the dinner we brought with us. The tank water was wonderful for showering and drinking (although we did need to be mindful of use). Roomy for two people as well. You do need a car as nothing is close by.

The property and its surroundings were so beautiful. The facilities were excellent and we made good use of the pool and tennis court. John and Nora were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay perfect- which it certainly was!
Everything was nice and clean, breakfast each morning was delicious and John was kind enough to drop us to and from the bus stop. It really felt like home from home.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough and if we’re back in Noosa we will definitely stay here again!
Rose was very accommodating with our late check-in.
Rose was very accommodating with our late check-in. The room was super comfortable, spacious and clean. had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Wish we stayed longer to discover the beautiful surrounds. We woke up to a foggy winter morning of fresh air. It was beautiful.

Amamoor is a small township with lots going on & heaps to do. You can be as busy or quiet as you like!!
I needed a real time-out period & I got it. The beauty of the countryside.was so soothing & yet the short hikes & location of the neighouring towns was a treasure & a pleasure to input into the economy of these towns. Hopefully tourism will explode & help these townships to get back to notmal. Just tge scenery is well worth it!!

The accommodation was perfect - Restful and relaxing. I would have liked more time to stay - I am planning another longer stay to explore the walking wildlife and surrounds. Lovely hosts and most accommodating. The greeting by the dog and the pet hen was an added bonus.

We took the Mary Valley Rattler from Gympie to Amamoor on our first day which gave us an overview of the area. With 3 nights and 2 full days we spent our days exploring the walk from the Amama Day Use area, Amamoor State Forest (some rocks to scramble over!) and the Rainforest Walk from the Cedar Grove Camp ground (excellent) and a walk from the Amamoor camp ground. We also enjoyed short drives to the hamlet of Imbil and Borumba Dam and Lake Cootharaba and Cooran (has an interesting boutique brewery).

Warm welcome from the owner, their gorgeous dog, resident chook and cat and beautiful native birds. We were provided with a lovely evening meal, beautifully prepared and served by Malcolm. Facilities with charm and character and the BEST hot shower. Thank you Malcolm and Christine for your hospitality. We wish you both all the very best. We hope to return soon.
